ETC performed the physical therapy for me after I had a knee replacement and 2 manipulations. The VA was going to make me travel to the Kansas City office, which was a long drive and it was winter time, but ETC was so kind to let me do my physical therapy in Pleasant Hill. I had to change my schedule, since I had 2 manipulations, and they adjusted the schedule on the fly, were I did not miss a session. I got to meet quite a few of their therapist and every single one did a great job. They are very caring people!

This location is extremely easy to work with on scheduling, there has only rarely been a time I couldn't find a time to make the appointment work with my busy schedule. The therapists are knowledgeable and creative with their approaches based on what's best for each individual patient, not a generalized approach which is fantastic. They call the day before to give you a reminder and confirm your appointment each time which is helpful with busy schedules.

I have been doing therapy here for the past couple of months. Pre surgery for rotator cuff and now post op. The staff is amazing!! I am happy with the results I am getting from the Exercises Megan and Kelly have been doing with me. Even when I think I can't, the let me know I can!! Michelle has the best personality and great too!! I like it so much that now my daughter is going here too!!

I have chosen ETC Physical Therapy two years ago and then again a year ago for another need. Both times I was extremely pleased with their services. They are professional and thorough, yet maintain a friendly hometown manner and they’re willing to listen to my concerns and achievements. I highly recommend ETC Physical Therapy!

HELP ME! 8/24/21 I tested positive for Covid 19. and was hospitalized for 7 days. The first 30 hours I was in critical care. My husband was brought in by ambulance the next day, he was in for 6 days. Our doctors told us both that if we had not been double vaccinated we would not have made it through Covid. That was very frightening. For months we saw several doctors for conditions left behind by covid’s wrath. I didn’t want to do anything or go anywhere, I just didn’t care about anything. I often just sat and cried, wishing I knew how to turn this around. I was overweight before I got covid. My muscles were weak and getting weaker. I was winded and fatigued easily with no stamina. In May, I told my husband that I was very worried about “me”. He was very sympathetic, but covid and it’s after affects were new to us and the doctors. I didn’t want to live the rest of my life feeling like this. I knew I had to do something about it right away. May 23rd, I called my doctor and asked if she would write a prescription for me to see a physical therapist. I needed help gaining my muscle strength back. She agreed and the next day Michelle at ETC Physical Therapy here in Pleasant Hill called and asked if I could come in the next afternoon? My insurance had approved the physical therapy and I said yes! June 7th I met with Megan at ETC Physical Therapy she evaluated me and started me out with some lite stretches to see what I could do. I was weak and winded, but willing to try and Megan was very determined to help me. She suggested twice a week for about an hour each session. I agreed. I told her that I’d like to be able to walk around my block again some day. I started with walking around the gym. At first I had to rest halfway around one time. With each session Megan or Kelly would add another rep or try a new exercise on me. I began to feel so good after each session that I looked forward to them. I felt I had been given a life-line and I was pulling myself up out of the severe depression, sadness and weakness that I had been in for 10 months. After several weeks I could walk around the gym 4 times WITHOUT a rest and without getting too winded! That evening, I decided it was time to see if I could walk around my block. I was a bit scared until I got halfway around. I started crying happy tears about 3/4 of the way back home. I DID IT! It only took 9 minutes, but I did it and I wasn’t very winded at all. The next morning, I called Michelle at ETC and asked her to tell Megan and Kelly that I had met my 1st goal. She was so happy for me and said she’d tell them both. They were so very happy with my success. So was I! I’ve been at it faithfully for about 20 weeks now. My muscles are getting stronger, I’m not nearly as winded as I was. I have more stamina, energy and I feel like I care again. I’m happy again. I’m me again. Thank you Megan, Kelly and Michelle at ETC Physical Therapy. I look forward to more workouts with you all. You’re the best!

Since my last review I have not had to have any therapy at Etc but both myself & husband have had therapy there and both highly recommend Etc. The therapy we recieved from Brad was Excellent! Unfortunately Brad left Etc because of moving to a different city which was a big loss to Pleasant Hill Etc but we wished him the best! We do not know the new therapist now but would still try Etc if ever needing therapy again! I have to also add Michelle at the front dest is very sweet & very helpful! She knows her stuff; we never had any trouble with the insurance end of things or scheduling! Thank you Below is my past review when I was having therapy on my shoulder!: Unfortunately I had to have therapy for 7 mths plus probally more but the positive side of this is BRAD, he is patient, fun, outgoing, friendly and encouraging! I would and do recommend Brad to others! I would say Brad is the best therapist I have ever had and heard this from several others too! He is the reason I picked ETC even when my doctor suggested elsewhere with water therapy! So many I know highly recommended him to me! Thank you Brad for all you do! 😀

I’ve used other physical therapy services and ETC provided the best experience. The therapists listened to my concerns and encouraged me to do more than I thought I could. My doctor was very pleased with my progress during a follow-up appointment.

Purchased what was presented as a year membership to the gym and signed automatic withdrawal from my account. Went to the facility 2 weeks later and was told that the system Has been revamped and there was no longer a membership. The receptionist, who was very apologetic let me know they canceled my “membership” and offer a rate 4x of what we signed up for. I spoke to the business owner, Jim Stone, assuming that he would make the situation right . All I can say is WOW! Mr Stone had no concern at all that I was just in and signed the automatic withdrawal that was presented to me as a year contract. Absolutely HORRIBLE way to do business. I would not recommend to anyone.
