Estrella Health and Rehab Center

I wanted to give a big thank you to Victoria the activities director and her assistants Cheri & Ash! My grandmother currently receives care in the facility and they always keep her happy and entertained. The previous assistant Tatianna wasn’t to friendly to my grandmother. The new Assistant is definitely a breath of fresh air. Nurse G and cna Sadie, Carol and is great as well! Thank you guys for attending to all my grandmothers needs.

I've been there to sing Christmas carols every year. The residents are always happy to see us. The facility is clean and the staff is super helpful. They are continually attending to residents as we walk the halls.

I can only speak to the Estrella Rehab portion of this facility, but would rate them higher if I could. After an extensive surgery, my father-in-law stayed in Phoenix to recover at a nearby Assisted Living Facility. Staff from Estrella Rehab would come on-site to help residents, so we were able to establish an ongoing OT and PT schedule with Chris at Estrella Rehab. We are so very grateful for the opportunity for my father-in-law to be able to return home successfully and more independent because of the work with Estrella Rehab and especially his therapist Matt. Thank you so much for the work you do and the kindness and frequent communication you provide. Our entire family is so very grateful!

I had an excellent experience Estrella Health and Rehab center. The facility was always clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The care both my parents received was I felt excellent about. Thank you

My husband has been at this place for almost 7 months now and still lays in bed .he needs physical therapy to walk again besides other things due to a stroke he had on Easter morning..there's not one thing that I can say that there's been any kind of improvement...it's almost like a child's daycare center the way I see it ..join and participate in activities and patients in wheel chairs rolling down the halls visiting each other..and for the ones that can't walk like my husband just stay in bed don't even get to see outdoors to get some fresh air or sunshine ...so speaking on what's currently happening with my husband as of now since April and nothing has changed..so I will make sure he's out of this place anytime soon and gets a therapist to get the therapy he needs to recover and walks and enjoys life again....I can keep on going and going and say much more about this place...also I bought for him to have a change of clothing while here were 6 pair of men's flannel pj pants and to have someone to go into his duffel bag and take not 1 pair all 6 pairs were gone..reported it didn't do no good to even bring it up ..all they did was printed a paper to not pick up his clothes that family will wash ...which made no sense because it's not like they were out ..for anyone to pick up ...they were in his bag zipped up and button up..he didn't take them out ..there's no way if he can't get out of bed by himself to walk over and reach for his bag ...so now he's wearing there comfy gowns...to much but even though I can't give this place a good rating ..I can say that most staff are friendly....the service is more like a day care ...in the 7 months of experience here.. and one more thing it can be very much cleaner then what it is seriously...

The her are caring. They go over and above. Amelia, Vicky, Mathew. When things need to be done they always come back in a timely fashion and get it done. Jackie the concierge has made my experience here good so far. Marie came in and made sure I knew the meal substitutes and was very concerned about my diet as I am diabetic. Very nice people.

Tatiana and Cherry(Cherish) are 2 of the most outstanding people who work for the facility. They both go way beyond exceedingly exceptional work. Cherry and Tatiana treat all of us as if we are family and go ahead beyond measure to know us personally and honestly Estrella wouldn't be anything without them and I want them to know I deeply appreciate them. I sincerely mean this I sincerely appreciate the both of them ❤️

Do not send your family here. Nurses are not attentive to patients. They walk past call lights. Don’t expect your family to get showers. They have a “shower schedule” CNA’s do not use gait belts for safe transfers. They didn’t have proper equipment when my mom was admitted. I had to call the case manager to get one for her. Still didn’t get one as “they didn’t have any onsite” The 100 hall smells like pee and poop. Patients are out in the halls slumped over in their chairs while nursing staff walks by them. Don’t be fooled by the pictures and the front office area. I’m not sure how this facility is still open and hasn’t been shut down by the health department.
