This place is wonderful. My two year old son takes speech therapy with Alissa, she is great, and with Amanda, occupational therapy, she is very sweet. Emely is attentive and great. My child is progressing step by step, thanks to the entire team for the support.

My grandson is progressing so well under their loving care and guidance. Everyone there is so professional and excellent with him. And he love them too and loves going to "school". Thank you all for being so supportive and professional at your jobs.

My son has been goin here for almost 2 years and has made a drastic change! He has come along way he’s in speech therapy and OT and before coming here it was hard to understand what he was saying and you could tell he was getting frustrated and I would say we at the time could understand maybe 10-20 percent of his sentences and words. But now you can understand almost 80 percent to 90 percent of the things he says in his sentences. He still is working on certain letters and words but I’m pleased with all the help and work progress they have made! Also his OT he was having certain issues with his right hand he couldn’t use his motor skills very well with the right hand so he had to try to learn how to cut a straight line he is still working on some shapes to draw but he can draw a circle a lot better than when we started! He went from doing OT to 2 times a week down to now 1 time a week so you can tell he’s made a lot of amazing progress with that. Thank all of you guys so much you guys are amazing!

My son has been receiving services here since December. He sees Miss Stephanie for speech and Mr. Logan for OT. I can't recommend this place enough for several reasons. Here are just a few: - My son loves coming here. - His therapists are great at communicating with me about what is done during his sessions. This is especially helpful so I can try to reinforce what his therapists are doing with him. - He's been there long enough that the "honeymoon period" is over and they continue to show him the same kindness, compassion, and patience as they did on Day 1. - We had an insurance issue and Leslie and Emily were so patient and helpful as it got resolved. Like I said, these are just a few reasons. I would definitely recommend Essential Skills.

Definitely recommend. Safe and inviting environment and my sons needs are being met with kindness and patience. His speech therapist Stephanie maintains a friendly and open line of communication with me and extremely helpful with suggestions on how to promote further communication practices at home. My son’s communicative speech and clarity has improved vastly over his time with her. Also, I love that the office maintains a calm setting for their students. Quiet front lobby area included. 10/10

My 6 year old daughter just had her evaluation with Stephanie. She is at the center for speech and language help. Stephanie was kind, and very patient. Her demeaner helped my daughter feel at ease. After the evaluation, I had a lot of questions about the results, and future therapy. Stephanie answered all them and I felt at ease leaving. We have state Medicaid. Before we left, she gave me information on how to get my daughter a special insurance plan that allows her longer visits, and other resources. The only downside to this practice is that they are so busy. My daughter was on a wait list for 2 months, and currently she has 8am time slots for her sessions. It is frustrating because she will miss the first 2 hours of school on therapy days, but in the long run the benefits will be worth it. On the plus side, the practice being so popular just goes to show how great it is! I am very grateful that my daughter got in.

Mrs. Emily is my son and daughter Occupation Therapy. She has been my kids therapist for over 7 years and she is the best. She is very professional, always caring for my kids needs, she will go above and beyond for her patients. Love there place, my kids love there therapist. Your children couldn't be in more capable hands. I can't thank her enough for everything she has done for my kids. Her compassion and attention to detail you won't see it anywhere else.
