Our children have been going here for over a year now for speech therapy and occupational therapy. Both of them having very different needs- autism and adhd. The therapists are phenomenal with their techniques, make it enjoyable for the kiddos with fun activities ( making board games, obstacle courses, recipes, etc.), and make us as parents feel like we can support our kiddos with these techniques and at home activities. They feel like they are part of our family with how kind and caring they are.

My daughter saw the therapist Sandy for about a year and our experience was absolutely wonderful! Due to Covid restrictions at the time, the majority of her speech therapy sessions were virtual however, nothing was compromised. Over time her sessions did change from virtual to in-person has certain restrictions lifted. My daughter had such a positive connection with Sandy, met her milestones, showed growth, and eventually "graduated" out of speech therapy. We lucked out finding such quality, caring, professionals so close to home. I would highly recommend Essence of Communication to anyone seeking the therapy services they provide.

My son and I both loved Sandy. After only a few visits Sandy was able to identify his primary issue and found creative ways to work through them with him. She was honest about the limit of her expertise in his particular condition and did not ask us to stay longer than she could help. I would absolutely recommend Sandy to anyone else.

My daughter started her journey with them the beginning of august and now is striving with her communication. They are awesome and very understanding.

I am so impressed and blown away by the care that my children get by both of their therapists. I am so glad I found this place. The therapists take their time and individualize the needs of my children. I thank Sarah and Lindsay for their dedication to my children! They go above and beyond!

My daughter has been working with Ms. Katherine for almost a year now! My Kid has been doing amazing with her sounds and her speech. I love this place so much!! I work at a school, and I always refer my parents that I work with here to get services!
