Englewood Post Acute and Rehabilitation

We have a loved one here and although the circumstances were Scary and shocking: everyone from the nurses, the aids, the therapy teams the kitchen staff and the front desk have been nothing but truly exceptional and absolutely amazing! They have been sensitive and understanding at times when we’ve been scared, nervous and overwhelmed and they’ve all had such great hearts and compassion that I couldn’t even begin to say how thankful and blessed we have been with such amazing people!

As a former employee, I must say that the management is highly ineffective. Advocating for your patients results in lip service with no real change. It is demoralizing to find your patients with very real complaints of having their call lights ignored, basic hygiene not being attended to, and dismissive nursing staff. I would not want a loved one to receive care here. There are some attentive nurses and therapy staff, but the incidence of easily preventable complications is all too common.

Based on my experience here the staff have been so friendly and helpful. It truly feels like a home away from home. Mary and Jasmine do a phenomenal job with activities for the residents. Joey cooks amazing food for every meal. The nursing staff are always making sure that your needs are met. Therapy team is very goal driven to assure that your loved ones make it back home safely with all of the know hows. Complimentary laundry services are provided to make sure there is a proper rotation of clean clothes. Aside from the staff there is a courtyard in back with tables, chairs, sunshades, flowers and greenery to just relax and enjoy some quiet time or a nice conversation with a loved one. This facility truly shines during difficult times.

EPAR boasts an exceptional staff who consistently ensure the happiness and well-being of its residents through engaging activities and top-notch therapy and dietary services. The front desk staff are always accommodating and cheerful, while the nursing team provides excellent care to the residents. Everyone works together seamlessly to create a comfortable and safe environment for all ❤️👍👍

Following a car accident, I came here for out patient therapy to treat whiplash and some nerve pain. The whole team is amazing, but Paula in particular is always so calming and effective whenever I am there!

I had the opportunity to do one of my clinical rotations for Physical Therapy at Englewood Post Acute, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is well trained and very attentive and kind towards the patients! I would absolutely recommend this establishment for skilled, as well as long term care services!!

Terrible teamwork. We were told by OT my husband could not come home because it was unsafe for him to transfer in/out of his wheelchair without a hoyer lift. Not even 24 hours later PT had him doing unassisted transfers. Insurance immediately paid for a hoyer. I was not allowed to bring him home for 3 more weeks. Multiple members of the staff repeatedly stated they didn’t think he needed to be there. The outpatient paperwork listed that I was his caregiver but not a single person went over his care plan or even showed me the paperwork. In the end Husband was allowed to sign himself out - I literally got all the paperwork in order to be appointed by the state as his caregiver only for him to come home with paperwork that says he didn’t need a caregiver. By far the worst communication and care plan I’ve ever seen from a rehab facility.

Where do I even begin? This facility treats your loved ones like family. Therapy department does an awesome job, they are very attentive. Nursing department is awesome from the Nurses down to the CNA. The facility is an older building but you can feel the love throughout. The administrator is very knowledgeable and a great communicator.
