The whole staff is wonderful. The staff will attend to the needs of your therapy one on one and take care of your needs. They are wonderful at getting you well after your surgery. The staff is kind and caring and very considerate of everyone’s different situations. I have been here many times and it has always been nice environment and very productive in recovery. For therapist you can count on to help get you back going, the Athens Encore is the place to go.

The front office lady that is the face of this business, comes off extremely incompetent. She forgets what she’s doing, calls repetitively to ask questions that have already been answered, and I’ve also heard them talking negatively about a patient before. The therapists we have worked with have been kind, but something needs to happen with the front desk staff.

Two of the three front office Ladies are extremely hard to work with. Their I hate my job and don’t want to be here attitude comes through bright and shiny. One has never cracked a smile in 12 weeks. These two Ladies are extremely difficult to work with. If I ever need therapy again it won’t be from here because of them. You have to give one star to be able to post otherwise I would give 0 stars.

Encore is really a good place and have done me very well in my therapies. The Therapist are very polite and always offering a friendly word. My 3 star rating is due to the wide open window between the Therapy area and Gym next door. Don't care to have someone starring through at all the patients and watching a butch sweat. Needs Blinds or something. Just Saying

I am currently a patient at Encore Rehabilitation in Athens. I have used Encore for Physical and Occupational Therapy several times in the past. I have been treated by all the Therapist at one time or another and found them all to be caring and professional. They are truly concerned with managing my pain and helping me achieving my goal of a full recovery. Their knowledge of the proper exercises and treatment is second to none. From the time I'm greeted at the front desk until I leave, I have never had an unpleasant experience or been disappointed. Great team of caring professionals!

So, I have contacted the owner on multiple occasions about these concerns and he seems to not care about the patients that are entering this facility in Athens AL. But I'm sure he gladly takes my money along with everyone elses. My 1st concern was being watched by the people that enter SportsFit, which is the owner's other business, that is only divided by glass. I suggested that he put up mirror tint on the gym side so the gym members can look at themselves and not the people in the Encore ReHab Facility. Since it seems to be a HIPPA violation of privacy. Some people are uncomfortable with others looking at them doing therapy anyways. The 2nd suggestion I gave him was, they really needed to add some automated doors entering the building, because everyone entering is injured in some way or in a wheelchair and CAN'T open those doors by hand, unless someone else kindly offers to go open them for that patient. He responded to me and said those were great suggestions in June 2021 but he stopped responding after I asked him why they were offering therapy on July 4th, I told him that's a HOLIDAY... So the staff worked in the Rehab facility on a Federal Holiday! So sad...
