Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana

I would like to thank the staff of Encompass Healthcare, for treating like a human instead of a number or dollar sign. I had the most wonderful nurses, therapist and doctors. I will definitely recommend them to everyone I meet who is in need of rehabilitation.

My 82 year old mother has been to other rehab units in Texarkana in the past. After her recent hip surgery, the first thing she told the staff while in recovery was that she wanted to go to Encompass! We all laughed in delight that she was so coherent coming out of anesthesia and insistent on going back to Encompass for her rehab. Staff at Encompass are all very friendly, knowledgeable and positive! I have had several friends there recently who had very good experiences!

I have two family members at Encompass Rehab hospital in Texarkana Texas. This facility is above and beyond expected. Clean, professional,friendly,attentative, excellent food,and energetic! Lots of employees to handle any situation. Doctors,variety of nurses both women and men. Rooms can be adjusted with separate thermostats. You chose from a menu. Snacks are served routinely. I would request to stay there , if ever I need to. This facility is top notch!Wow!

I want to thank the team at Empcomass for the exceptional care they provided to my dad, Jerry Gross. My dad spent almost a month at Encompass. During his time at Encompass, he was treated with kindness, respect, and care. My dad lost his battle but was able to spend his final days surrounded by a team of caregivers who genuinely gave their all to ensure he was comfortable and happy while making all of us feel at ease as well. When we decided to take him home, Laura was exceptionally great at setting up Hospice and expedited the discharge process. Our family will forever be grateful to Nestie, Shalisa, Queenie, Ravyn, Laura, Amy, and Dr. Wright. I pray that each person listed above knows how special they are in others' lives and will continue to provide excellent care to future patients. From the entire Gross Family, Thank You!

I have been a patient here now for 1 week. Everyone is very nice, courteous and genuinely cares about your health. I love this place . The therapist nurses and doctors all are the best.

My wife's mamaw went there for eleven days and her platelets level went down from day one.They never tried to bring them up until my wife called time after time.when my wife would call they hanged up on her. So we had her moved back to hospital. So I do not recommend any elderly to to go there .

My mother is in worse shape when she left than before she was admitted also I called two different times and asked for the Dr or nurse to call me back and no one ever called back but isn't it something how when she comes home they are concerned about how she is why not be concerned while admitted I don't recommend this facility.
