Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Shelby County

This was my 3rd stay at this location. The Doctors are awesome & really listen to you. The Therapy Team is amazing! Food not so great. No sweet tea!! Employees are too loud in the hallway! I would go back again, if I could. I couldn’t leave to attend my brothers funeral so they had to discharge me earlier than planned!!

My daughter had to stay there due to a car accident. They had just built the facility. She was one of the first patients to stay. The entire staff team was extremely nice to us and treated my daughter with love and compassionate. They worked well with her. She was doing so good we left before the time they expected. She's doing awesome. She now has 2 beautiful children's. I recommend this place to your love ones. We was there back in 2018.

My dad stayed 10 days to regain strength after an 8 day hospital stay. Very nice, new and clean facility. Nurses, therapist and aids were all extremely friendly and up lifting. We were able to stay with my dad around the clock which was a peace of mind for us and him. To our surprise they brought a guest meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner which was a nice touch of normalcy to eat together.

What an awesome team! While each department have their own important duties they work seamlessly together. They are kind, considerate, compassionate, empathetic, caring and most of all they are listening to you & are believing in what you’re saying. There is no need that gets thrown to the side because it is too small. They were wonderful to me and my family. Thank you does not go far enough in my gratitude to this facility.

My brother in law was admitted for up to 21 days for rehab last Thursday and is already being released this coming Monday. The Facility is amazing with Great Staff and dedicated in to seeing the Patients needs are met. We drove from Iowa to help my sister in taking care of him. His recovery went so well as he was determined to get home to his wife without needing alot of help outside of basic needs. Our Family is so appreciative for this Rehab Facility and All the Staff. My mom fractured her shoulder and had to come in. The staff was phenomenal from the first phone call, to check in, and during her entire stay. I didn't have any complaints. During the stay, her doctors, nurses, and all staff kept me abreast on what she was doing each day. She ate well everyday also. The facility is clean and has a fresh smell. I would highly recommend it if you're needing rehab!!

Encompass Health has been such a blessing for my father in law. Everyone, from Rebekah at the front desk, Wendy in Physical Therapy, and especially the nursing staff has been so encouraging to our family and so very helpful. We are so thankful to have met the staff and have them care for our sweet Pappa.

Everyone at the rehab hospital was nice and caring from the doctor on down to the nurses and techs... To the rehab people who I saw throughout my visit. Phyllis and Brittany were the all stars of rehab for me. Without them I wouldn't have had the confidence to be able to do some of the things that I am able to do now. Will definitely consider Encompass if rehab is needed again on down the line
