I have been to this Encompass twice and both times have exceeded my expectations. The entire staff are professional and compassionate. Plus the food is delicious. Dr. B and Dr. McPhee are awesome. Cory PT and Amanda OT are great. Mikkaela gives the best showers! So many nurses and aids I'd like to give credit to as well...Kylee, Dina, Tali, Rosie, Chris, Natasha Thank you Encompass for preparing to go home with a broken left femur and a broken right ankle. ❤️

I am so grateful for the excellent care that I received at Emcompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. The nursing staff was always friendly and helped me with all my needs. The Physical Therapy and Occupational staff was so patient and sensitive to my pain, but firm in a kind way. I will be eternally grateful for the care, respect, and kindness that i received at your rehabilitation hospital.

We placed my mother at Encompass after having a massive stroke which left her completely dependent upon care for ALL of her needs including feeding. We were assured that she would get 1 to 1 care for meals and drinks. After only a few days she was given a hot cup of coffee by a CNA and left by herself and promptly spilled the coffee leaving her with 2nd degree burns on her legs. Additionally beware of the care by specific doctors who spend less than 5 minutes with patients and proceed to provide medical direction against the patient and families wishes. When we brought this to the attention of the social work and administrative teams we were met with legalize and resistance.

As I am being discharged from Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital tomorrow, I wanted to express my gratitude for an absolutely wonderful experience in my rehab. The PT and OT teams carefully assessed my condition, and created an integrated, progressive plan to bring me to a much higher level of function than I had even hoped. As a retired physician, I am aware that complete recovery is unlikely, but the careful planning and the gentle forward “nudges” that the staff applied improved my functional level beyond what I thought possible in a little over two weeks time. It was obvious that my care was discussed daily in staff meetings, assuring a coordination of care that was truly impressive. And the staff was consistently helpful and encouraging, supportive when I was having bad days, and unfailingly concerned — checking on my condition regularly, and never failing to inquire if I needed anything else before leaving the room. It was obvious that they were stretched at times, but the wait was seldom long for a response to a call light, and 99% of the time with a smile (well, OK make that 92% when taking some disruptions down the hall on night shift into consideration) I’m surprised that some reviewers complained about the food; there were choices every day and while not “exotic” it was tasty and well-prepared. In leaving here tomorrow, I will certainly be glad to be home, but I feel like I’m leaving a family of caring friends behind. Thanks again for all the wonderful work you do in a stressful situation.

What an amazing experience! First time getting hit by a car so rehab was a TV thing only so I didn't expect as wonderful care as I got. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and very personable. Special shout outs to the Mark's, Natasha, and Cory!

Don't go here they rush rush they don't care about your best interest it's a group that is just collecting insurance. They make promises they fall back on, gaslight you, put down things you didn't say, a doctor comes by for literally one minute, they will give you electronic forms several days later saying here sign/ initial this agreeing they gave it to me to sign day of admittance when they didn't. I signed days after I was admitted that I accept treatment but was not going to lie when it came tiime to initial agreeing they gave me anything to sign when i arrived as i wasn't given anything ,to sign when i arrived, Then they keep coming back to coerce you into signing or initialing. even a few days before you leave which is weird and suspicious, They don't follow up with you when send you home but say a doctor will call and check on you, No doctor came and saw me the afternoon I was discharged except when i was sleeping and told him to come back he said he would and was so quick to turn around and leave and no doctor saw me the day I left?? Well more like pressured out. The PT is good and gym services yet when i told PT I was at an 8 pain level on my right knee ( it crunches and can buckle) she literally said okay you're a 5 and said she put in notes 5? and also so shocked at the CEO when it says call or email her if you need anything during your stay in the booklet that they don't tell you is in the back of wheelchair until day you leave yet doesn't respond or care so that is a joke - why bother putting her in a booklet if it's just for show. Plus i was prescribed by their own medical melatonin but the last night I asked repeatedly and always got it why don't you don't have so I lay in bed looking at ceiling. He finally came at 4 in morning after I told assistant to tell nurse and I asked for half then as it was too late so the next day of disharge was only time to sleep. Zero sleep would cause anyone not to progress, it could create problems you never had. Plus they run a race as soon as you get there to stress you out and create so much anxiety you cant heal. You become worse with heart pains. Once I had a deep chest pain I never felt before and I told a nurse . You better record and document every single thing a nurse, therapist or doctor says to you get everything they say to you in writing or they just cooerce, lie and make up whatever they want to get you gone You will play with your health or loved one's health going here, I feel sorry for the patients who are not coherent enough to understand what they truly are doing. Also, the food quality is very marginal they must have gone extremely cheap after the pandemic, and it's even unhealthy - funny thing is Honorhealth hospital is healthy and much better quality. You may not feed Encompass food to a dog but you eat what is delivered to you as you are hungry. Don't know what happened to them. Also staff in dining does not help you - nurse cnatheywill sit you down put cold food in front of you and when you ask someone to heat it up as you cant do it you just are left to sit there for a long long time they are busy then forget about you. They just want insurance money but so much inconsistencies and things said that is too long to list it all. Outright lies even case management lies - the medical doctor name was on a letter my insurance co told me who I never met or spoke to in my life to this day. He never even saw me. it's simply not a well-run place. The key is don't EVER end up having to go here. Forgot to mention they have a big bug problem crawling all over floor daily in bathroom and room floor, hallway too. Where is extermination? An asst when I pointed that out said "It's summer".

I was discharged from Encompass mid May after an almost 2 week stay there. I want to thank all who cared for me. I felt as if I was the only patient there. Everyone was so patient, knowledgeable, and kind. Hopefully I'll never need rehab again but if I do the only place I would go is Encompass

EVERY single nurse, therapist, doctor, food service worker etc. I encountered was exceptional. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my 10 day stay there.
