Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota

I was very pleased with the treatment I received at Encompass Health! Theater doctors, nurses, therapists, and staff all working as a team, to get me back to where I was before my serious intestinal surgery! No easy task, as I’m already a high level paraplegic, who’s moving into his elderly years! The doctors and nurses, working well together, as a team, got my recovery from the surgery and all the complications I had resolved and a skillful and successive manner! Their experience with rehabilitation was very evident! The therapists were very knowledgeable and committed to my fast recovery! They made a very difficult time, productive, and even pleasant to my strong recovery! I would definitely use Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital for any future needs! They were Great! Greg Hall

The care and treatment at your facility was top notch. I would highly recommend Encompass to anyone needing a Rehab Hospital. I would particularly like to mention the team in PT/OT - John and Amber were outstanding! They went above and beyond to get me ready to come home in time for Thanksgiving. John even intervened when I was having some issues with my meals. I also had a great experience with you nurse Lisa. She worked with my doctor to help resolve my dizziness that was limiting my ability to do PT. She also modified my treatment to relieve some digestion issues I was having. The staff and the doctors were excellent. The occupational and physical therapists are first class and really work with you to get you back to a normal life after surgery. I had team orange with Lexi as my occupational therapist and Sony , my physical therapist. They both were great at making sure I was able to do the tasks I needed to learn before going back home. They showed professionalism and grace during my 12 day stay.

I loved my time at Encompass! I had Sony for PT and I can’t say enough about how wonderful she was. She made me work hard, but it was just what I needed. And Lexi was my OT and she was wonderful too.. She helped me immensely. all the nurses were so friendly and helpful. And all the techs were so helpful. Thank you so much for the good care you gave me. I would recommend Encompass to any friend or family.

I received great care at Encompass. Everyone was professional, kind, empathetic. PT (Scott), OT (Amanda), and Dr Hume were amazing. If not for Encompass I would probably be in assisted living today. Thank you to everone.

Encompass provided me a comfortable professional and soothing facility to promote intense rehabilitation for speech PT and OT therapy. The staff and especially team red pushed me to maximize and advance my recovery, setting me up to be successful with continued out patient therapy. I was very impressed with both the nursing staff and physical and occupational therapists! I was very blessed to have wonderful nurses and nursing assistants. They were kind and efficient and I really enjoyed their company! It was a rigorous program but well worth it! I was released in one weeks time, and doing well on my own at home! All of these nurses and therapists deserve kudos for their dedication to their patients!!
