A very positive experience with everyone involved. The nurses, nurse aids even the lady who swept the room. Upbeat an smiles. My two therapists Gwen physical therapy and Kiersten occupational therapy were just exceptional. 👍

Everyone was so nice to me. Anyone who needs rehab I would highly recommend Encompass to you. I was very impressed with the medical care I received there.

DONT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! This facility came highly recommended from the physical therapist and the social worker from King daughters, however my father showed a significant decline the first day he was there! I shared this with the staff and the ensured me it was from the strokes which it is was not he was completely competent mentally! When he arrived there he had even text me! Please please be your your family members advocate and educate yourself on the medication that they give here they will give your loved one Ativan Seroquel, and haldol, Telling you that it’s for irritation and anxiety and it is an antipsychotic. My father passed April 25 from a second set of stroke that occurred while being in their care, they literally dropped him off at Saint Mary’s and left, he went to the emergency room with a glucose level of 633 dka and tied to a hospital bed and four-point restraints. I beg you do not put your loved one here you will regret it. Don’t be so trusting or as naïve as I was

I am always pleased with the work that rehab does when I've been here. The staff and nurses & physicians are always pleasant.

My family decided to have my elderly father go there after he had a stroke for his therapy and rehab. We were told that Encompass would be the best place for him to go to be able to get back to be able to go home with minimal supervision but after a week they were already planning his release and he was no where near ready. The majority of his stay he had pneumonia that he had from the hospital and contracted the flu while he was there so really had no chance of receiving proper therapy and rehab(imagine yourself healthy with pneumonia and the flu trying to go through rehab) This facility is not suitable for someone who has had a severe stroke but it was really pushed hard by the social worker at ST. Mary's Hospital and a sales rep for encompass that works in St. Mary's which make me concerned that maybe someone might be getting a kick back for referrals. Except for one the nurses seemed very nice and did their jobs they are not the problem. The main issue is the ones making the decisions and the social workers. The social worker that was assigned to my father had came out of retirement and in her day may have done ok but at this point was very inept she kept getting names wrong, didn't know the doctors that worked there, called and left messages about meetings that were never scheduled she did not have a clue. When we met with her expressing our concerns about our father being released in worse shape than he had arrived we were basically told the decision was final and we could appeal for a couple of extra day(which would have been useless) and that in so many words it was our problem not theirs. This facility might be ok for post surgery rehab but not for people who have had a severe stroke as my father left there in worse condition than when he came in there. Make sure if it is your loved one is in need of rehab after a stroke you don't let anyone push this place on you as the best option do your home work and talk it over with other family members to make the best decision.

Nursing staff was ok but never answered buzzers, staff at nursing station never answered call lights. Was supposed to be one on one PT, was more like group PT. Aide(not all) was very ruff, throwing into bed after being ruff putting in wheelchair. At the end of stay was in worse shape then went in requiring hospitalization. UpOn hospitalization found back was broken (thoracic and lumbar) so the ruff handling by staff both at facility and putting in vehicle upon discharge exacerbated condition causing more damage to a fractured back. Would never return and would not recommend.

My mom has been here currently 4 nights so far; discharge date to be determined. The nurses are extremely attentive, I can’t say enough about the compassion and care that I have seen of the past four days. Being in the healthcare industry myself, and now seeing it from the patient care side, family. I would highly recommend encompass for rehabilitation needs, and knowing that your family is going to be well taken care of.
