Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of East Valley

I’ve been to Encompass three times. I always end up better than when I came. The staff is amazing. My nurses and their MA,s were absolutely attentive and professional. Everyone, my caretakers, exhibited hearts of service wrapped in compassion and kindness. I have to give all of them a 10 same with the PT, OT. Chelsea, my case manager went above and beyond. Thank you, thank you 🙏

Our experience was wonderful! I seldom write reviews but I had to let others know that the service and care we received for my 89 year old father who had a stroke and dementia was excellent the past 2 weeks. I was very nervous about anyone taking on this role but our family quickly felt confident that dad was in good hands. Everyone was so kind to him and attentive. Often I would go visit him after hours and they would always let me in to just make sure my dad was tucked in and happy. The PT and OT teams were awesome. They gave him 1 on 1 workouts and we saw improvements every day. The physical building is very clean as I hate hospital smells and there was none of that. The meals were really good and they invited family to eat with with their loved one in their room or cafeteria. All fountain drinks were free for family and their guest price for meals was very reasonable. It is a very secure building with cameras in rooms so the nursing staff can monitor patients. They had the bed and wheel chair sensors in place too so they had a good pulse on my dad at all times who near the end of his stay was getting anxious to go home. I felt that the patient to staff ratio seemed good which allowed the staff to respond to call button items quickly too and when they came to the room they were always friendly and eager to assist. I'm not sure what else to say but thank you to the staff who cared for my dad. There are too many of you to name and I won't forget your great care. You were amazing!

There are two many people to mention. The care team is top notch. I have never been admitted to a facility with such a stellar team of health care professionals. The nursing staff has the perfect balance of empathy, while maintaining nursing protocols. Physical therapy I was amazed at outcome of being challenged and pushed to re activate muscles in my legs. Physical therapy has given me my hope back. Matt & Cameron thank you for listening to me, even when I was not able to utilize the right words. Thank you to the kitchen, for all the amazing meals. Housekeeping always kept my room perfect. This review is for all staff at Encompass Health. The doctors also took the time each day to follow up with my progress. Thank you to my amazing case worker Koshya Wang-Murao she helped me get my stressful exit plan in place and never stopped helping until it was finalized.

Absolute class. 10/10 facility. I was in a dirt bike accident where I became paralyzed T12(waist) down. The emotional state I was in was not stable or healthy, and I was literally planning on ending it after the crash because I thought I’d probably never walk again. Still not sure about the walking part, but what I am sure of is that I would not be here if it weren’t for the help of my physical therapists, my occupational therapists, and my nurses. Morgan Finley, Marissa Brown, Mac, Caitlyn, Connor, and a few more saved my life. Not only did they help me gain independence, but they helped me so so so so so much with the emotional/mental part. I was hopeless and they all gave me hope, helped me so much with learning to live again, and learning that it’s worth living again, whether I stay wheelchair bound or not. I’m so grateful for those people and the help they provided me with. I will be visiting from time to time. Thank you so much for everything, I love you guys, and thank you Encompass.

Encompass has surpassed our expectations. They have a plan and share their plan. The staff coordinates real time to execute the plan. They are staffed well. The staff acts in unison to execute the plan. Excellent experience. Excellent staff. Thank you so much.

I loved Encompass. The nurses were kind and very helpful! The OT and PT were amazing. Kindness was high on their list! The doctors went overboard to help take care of problems! If an occasion were to send me back I would definitely choose this service again! Thanks for he wonderful care!!!

Everyone was so very kind and prompt. I never had to wait long after I pushed my call light. Always willing to help in the best way they could! A huge high five to all these people in a high stress job! Thank you for taking such good care of me.

We checked my grandpa here a couple of days ago. We were told that visitors can come anytime between 8am and 8pm. We were not told there is a 4 person limit and I happened to come with my 7 month old baby ant the same time and my sister in law her CHILDREN and I was turned away because they consider babies in their limit of visitors. Family is so important during the healing process and to turn family away because they have young children that want to see their grandfather and show support on their healing journey is disturbing to me. The front desk lady lacked compassion and empathy about the situation and had a very just rude attitude about it. Not happy to say the least
