My mother spent about 2 1/2 weeks at Encompass. This was her second time. The staff was great with her and answered all our families questions and concerns! She loved the food!

The PT staff and the OT are the heart of this rehab, and they are as good as it gets, excellent. They know how to push you further than you think you can go, but not too far. I often finished a session feeling so hopeful about my recovery. Everything else in this institution should support the healing process. But too often it did not. The support staff, nurses, nurse aides, and other staff are quite good. The problem is in the staffing levels - it is clearly not adequately staffed for the needs of the patients. When I raised this concern the response was that the staff were failing in their job, because I shouldn’t be aware of staffing issues. But I could clearly see that at times the staff couldn’t respond to all the patient needs. Too often my pain outran the pain medication, once going almost 11 hours with no pain meds. And too often I had to wait too long to go to the bathroom. I assume the staffing level inadequacies are about money. But this is a profit making corporation and apparently there is money to improve staffing levels. Allocation of funds should be based on the wellbeing of it patients, on every level, the priority.

It was an amazing experience, everyone was very polite and gave me all the information I needed to get back to walking. It's been a very rough road but made easier by the staff.

Excellent 0.T. and P.T. care! Encouraging and enthusiastic group - "almost" making grueling and difficult tasks fun. All kinds of great recommendations and suggestions for home. Paige and Danea are the best, and I appreciate all they did for me during my stay.

Spent two weeks in rehab due to s/p complex seizure and urosepsis. Was left with weakness and significant deconditioning due to a comprehensive health history with strokes. We would separate services to be fair to physical therapy. PT 5 of 5 - passionate and patient clinicians OT 3.5 of 5 - appreciate the efforts for improving ADLs Medical - 0 of 5 - sadly the NCO had way too many conversations with issues that occurred during the stay; unsecured medications, lack of prompting, toileting, pt cleanliness, updating room boards critical for those with dementia, and aides absolutely lacking in simple human needs. And must add patients with COVID were treated like a leper. Disgraceful. This was not the first year of COVID but year 4. Facility/Rooms - 0 of 5 - patient family had to request rooms and beds to be cleaned, bagging of trash and removing from the room. GROSS

My mom was there in 2022. She was medically and nutritionally neglected. Now I'm learning that other people have recently had to pull their family member out because of the same complaints I had. They must be deleting negative reviews.

I had two back surgeries in August. One involving a titanium rod placed in my spinal column. I knew I would have to have rehabilitation afterwards. I was told that it would involve three hours of therapy a day, I thought how am I going to be able to do this, but each day they worked with me and each day I became stronger. The staff are great. I'm going home in two days. It's been a long haul but I am grateful to my surgeon and the staff here at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Concord NH Thank you everyone for your help.

Op and pt very good. Scheduling needs to be looked at for first thing in the morning between breakfast, vitals and medication. Otherwise we'll run.
