Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Colorado Springs

Encompass Health staff was really good! Loved the therapists, cna’s and nurses. Ian was an amazing OT and was definitely our favorite! Facility was clean, secure and easy to check in. Food was very good and lots of choices. Didn't give five stars only because I feel the team should prepare the families more on taking a patient home and what to expect. Go over medicines and instructions with the family member in charge, not just the patient as not all patients can relay information correctly. Also, make sure patients have an appointment with PCP so that home health can start right away after seeing the doctor. Would highly recommend this facility!

I stayed at Encompass Rehabilitation Center after my recent spinal surgery, where they prepared me for my transition back home. I can’t say enough about the excellent treatment I received there. From the nurses to the physical and occupational therapists to the food service workers, everyone was kind, competent, and caring. By the time I completed my treatment, I felt confident that I could take care of myself and continue to heal. Highly recommend Encompass

Every member of the staff, from case manager to housekeeping treated me like I was a person first and a patient after that. They made the PT and OT something I looked forward to doing. I was allowed to go outside with therapists for some of my sessions. The nurses and therapists were all encouraging and caring. It was more like visiting my family than being in a rehab facility. And don't get me started on the food. I will describe it in one word. Delicious! When my wife, daughter and I are able to take a couple of breaths, we will be sending the most complimentary email to the CEO and letting him know that his employees are not mere employees. They truly care about the patients and their families. Again, they are a family among themselves and they include patients in that family. I truly recommend Encompass Health Rehab Hospital is who you should ask for when your doctor asks if you have a preference for rehab.

If I could, I'd give 10 stars!! Great personal care with O. T. and P. T. I don't have enough superlatives to describe the staff. I'm 3.5 years since a head-on crash with a semi so I know great staff. They make you feel like you're family. Food was very, very good which is important for recovery. A ton of options to choose from also. Encompass Rehab is very efficient with getting you to meet your personal goals. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My stay at Encompass, was great, the entire staff is kind, courteous and professional I was well taken care of from my mental to my physical, they took my concerns seriously and I felt heard. I love this place. Encompass Health rehab center is the best place for my recovery time, my physical therapy and the O.T. The doctor listens to my questions and concerns. He is AWESOME! I absolutely love the meals not one meal was disappointing. The therapy team are all awesome people My favorite care team for my specific needs is James, Kya, Eva, Deb, Christian McKenna and Chris and Sarah. There are more than what I listed but these people are top notch and to me personally are the absolute best. Some staff members stand around and chit chat to much outside the patients doors especially during the night while we the patients are trying to sleep I understand they have a lot of people to take care of but these people need to talk more softly during the night hours. Other than that being my only complaint this place is WONDERFUL!!!!😃🤗💯🌟♥️👍👍👍👍👍👍

Encompass was recommended to me, for my Mom. They were the best. And first time, she came home BETTER, than when she had her stroke. I can't say enough good things about them. I was so surprised and happy at her progression. Not, only great staff but, excellent training and learning techniques. First time she opened her left hand, and continues to use it. And gets up on her own and all therapies, helped her so much. More than pleased... Highly, highly, recommend. And yes, she even liked the food.. that's saying a lot. Little things and big alike, make such a world of difference. Great from the first call with intake, to everyone in between, till she came home and I seen,what I knew she was capable of and more.
