Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clermont

This Encompass facility was an excellent place to go after being released from back surgery. The facility is new with the state-of-the-art physical therapy and healthcare equipment. All of the staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure that your recovery is their top priority. From the time you first arrive, you are introduced to a majority of the caregivers who will attending to your recovery. I had been admitted after back surgery and pain that was not under control. The doctors on staff worked to arrive at a regime that allowed me to participate in Physical and Occupational therapy. The therapists were outstanding beyond belief. They were well trained and were determined to help me be successful in regaining my mobility and ability to function at home. In between therapy sessions, my nurses and techs were always just moments from attending to my needs. To top everything off, the meals that I was served were also amazing. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing high quality rehabilitation care.

When you feel that your world has just fallen apart due to an illness or an accident as I had. Encompass rehab picked up all the pieces and helped me recover, gain strength and helped me get some of my independence back. I entered Encompass rehab one way (desperate for help) and left there loving everyone who was involved in my stay - team work from all the nurses, PT therapist, OT therapist, kitchen staff and daily cleaners. I would highly recommend encompass rehab to anybody who is going through a difficult time in their life. ❤️

I was admitted to Encompass after having to go to the hospital. My experience was very grateful, better than Solaris. The PT Michelle and the OT Allison worked with me to get me ready to go home. Giving the 4 instruments needed for home activities, (the reacher, the garment tool, the butt buddy, and the sock helper). I wish I had more time there. Michelle was encouraging and helped me place my foot down. Allison helped with the bathroom, and was generous with her time. My experience at Encompass was great. The food was good, there's snacks if needed, and the aid comes quickly (except for Bianca - never see her all day). Solaris was good with activities, but I was always waiting for the aid and it sometimes I had to wait with OT and PT to go to the Therapy gym. NOT with Encompass, I was taken to the gym, and the nurse would find me there when I was away from my room instead of waiting to until I returned to give pain medicine. I wished that Encompass was closer. No one visited me once I went to Encompass facility.

My husband was very sick in so Lake Hosp. When they released him he was sent to wings of Clermont Rehabilitation. I was so upset at his care and feared for his safety. I knew I had to get him out. I went on Clermont Nextdoor web page to ask for help. Many people suggested Encompass Rehabilitation. After many phone calls I got him transferred to Encompass. What a relief!! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. He has to have dialysis 3x weekly and they have it on site. He had occasional therapy and PT regularly and in two weeks was able to dress and shower himself and walk with a walker all over the PT room. So many people stand out in his care and also helping us at home.. Latoya went out of her way to have him transported home and she herself delivered 2 dinners to our home. I can’t begin to say what a relief that was. We were so tired when he got home. Latoya also continued to help us by having a walker sent to our home. I would give Encompass and everyone working there 5 stars. Also, my husband said the food was great. Thank you everyone.

My experience at the Clermont location was exceptional. The staff was very accomidating. When I left, I was mere days away from standing and taking baby steps. I hope to return to continue my ortho rehab. Best wishes Mary Kay

I recently had a 10 day stay at Encompass at Claremont. What a wonderful experience. Every single person there right from the management team to the cleaners and kitchen staff were nothing short of excellent. The nurses are all so professional and friendly. The OT and PT teams are just superb. They really helped me to get stronger and get to a level where I could easily look after myself at home again. I cannot praise everyone there highly enough. It was actually sad to leave. Definitely going to go back when I’m able to walk again to say hi to everyone.

Oh Encompass, you welcomed me like family. You gave me courage to push thru pain. I met many new friends both from patients and staff. PT-Andrew L, and all the othés were great. Wonder Woman, will always be my shero. My hair braiders get a thumbs up too. Thank you to all the doctors, even Dee the Gym DJ. I love and miss you all.

I came to Encompass Clermont recovering from major back surgery for some rehabbing!! Much to my surprise the facility is excellent in every aspect of care. The Doctors, nurses technicians, chefs and rehab techs are top notch. All staff were friendly and helpful! The food was the best I’ve ever had in a medical facility!! Kudos to the chef!! Therapy was great and got me through the toughest time getting back to my normal life!
