Encompass is the best rehab program!!! The staff are top notch and on their game. By the end of my stay,I was sad to say goodbye to them. Patty was the most amazing nurse and made me feel so comfortable. I loved the on site dialysis team. They were all great, but Louis went above and beyond to come by daily, check on me and give me a pep talk. My stay there was fantastic!!!

My husband has had numerous falls and has always gone to encompass rehab. Great place. This last visit left us both perplexed. Went in for intensive pt to get stronger. Had a spill and fractured his scapula. After 4 days his “team” decided they couldn’t really help him so they discharged him. First to go home till I pushed hard for skilled nursing. Why could they help him this time. No one has answer for me. Would like to give 5 stars but ..,,

I asked my surgeon where he would suggest I go to rehab. He said that he had heard many positive things about Encompass. Checking around with friends, again, I got so many positive things said about Encompass. I’m so happy to say that I’m now a happy member of the “Encompass Fan Club”. (If there was such a thing.) The Encompass doctor that was on call while I was there, Dr. Yoon, was so present, checking in daily, and sometimes more. My case worker for my stay was Marie, a lovely lady who was very invested in my care and my success in getting better. She was a delight! For my comfort, I was allowed to have my own pillow, for my neck and my own blanket that made me happy. My nursing staff was beyond any I expected. Every single one was kind, prompt to come, cared for me and my issues with professionalism, yet with the kindness of a friend. The entire care team, nurses, aides, nurse assistants, food service staff, the lady who cleaned my room, just everyone who had any part in my care , were wonderful. They were all so kind, friendly, and supportive. They were each rays of sunshine as they walked through the door. Now on to the part that I had to do…Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. This program is something about which I had no realistic idea. 8:00 AM came early each day and I had to be ready. I did, like so many others, said I know how to walk, etc , but for any of you, “I can do this at home!” Well yes you can, so be prepared, because you will be educated in correct techniques, given helps for you to succeed while in Encompass and once you’re home. Things I took for granted, suddenly became lessons for doing better, for getting stronger, for doing things in a safer manner and for gaining confidence. Don’t ever pass on professionals who are trained to help you to be more independent through safer movements. Everyone in the occupational and physical therapy community at Encompass, are amazing. Each one and as a team member is there to help you get better faster, safely stronger and actively healing. They are your teachers but also your cheerleaders! As you are sometimes in group sessions you also cheer on your co-patients. It’s a great community of positivity teamed with the excellent health care. If you find yourself needing a topnotch place for yourself or a loved one, to recuperate, and get more independent, I wholeheartedly endorse Encompass Rehabilitation!

Excellent care. Medical staff is excellent (Dr Dolan, Dr Wisnoff). Nursing and CNAS provide consistently above par care. Physical, occupational, speech therapist are excellent at getting my mom to work to keep her LIFE intact!

This is the most wonderful place if u have to be at Rehabilitation! The nurses and staff are great. Attended to my needs timely and kind. They were knowledgeable. My physical therapist were the best!!. 💯 Best in town

I am very grateful for the care and support of the facility’s staff. However there are issues that I think need to be addressed: communication between caregivers about patients could be improved. Very often I had to repeatedly clarify my medication and treatment regimen. PT and OT sessions were scheduled and rescheduled again and again. Sometimes these were set up during meal times weirdly. Food was generally too salty and unappetizing though the chef’s salad was excellent. Again, most staff were genuinely concerned about their patients.

The nurses, for the most part, were very good. There were 2 or 3 that had no business being nurses. The food was always cold and tasted horrible (pureed and minced). The bed was not changed daily. Two therapist had no professionalism about them. The names I do remember that were excellent were Lupe, occupational therapist, Rogelio, nurse, Cynthia, nurse, and speech therapist. She was excellent ( I can't remember her name). I was in room 205 from October 18th to the 30th.

Im giving two stars for the effort. However I believe this facility advertises all these treatments and only do the bare minimum. The staff doesn't pay attention to specific instruction that they literally asked for. For my grandmother we would tell them since she diabetic and had a stroke cause of that reason, to not give her food with a lot of sugar. Despite me telling them every single day when I visited my grandma, I would find my grandma eating something sweet and artificial. They also told us they would do some therapy for memory. However despite me telling them many times, they kept dragging it a long and never did it. They only did physical therapy and the bare minimum. This facility only cares about getting clients and billing there insurance.
