Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital

Highly recommend! I can't say enough about this place and everyone who works there! I didn't know what to expect but was surprised to have been treated so well by entirely everyone who came into my room. From Food and Nutrition to EVS, each person was kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful to my needs. It amazes me that Mark, the CEO; Sheree, the Ambassador, and even Nathan, Business Director, took the time to walk into each patients room and ask if they are happy and if they could do anything to make things better which is just phenomenal! All my therapists: Cade, was so compassionate to console me as I cried when I got discouraged during my therapy and pushed me to reach my PT goals. Kim, listened to what I needed to accomplish so I could be sure I would be able to do it at home and tailored my OT therapy to those goals. Jennifer didn't work with me long but when she did, she was patient and kind and made sure I felt happy with my progress. They were so great and patient. Reggie in FNS was awesome explaining my food choices and brought me exactly what I liked. He even took the time to bring me catfish when I mentioned how I missed catfish Fridays at the hospital. (btw the food is great and not like normal hospital food.) Bonnie, my Case Manager made sure I had everything I needed when I was ready to leave and even made sure I had a ride to get home. Every one of my nurses took such good care of me and was professional, thoughtful, kind and considerate. Michelle put my fears to rest and made me feel safe my first night. Sierra showed me pics of her dog trying to comfort me during dressing changes. Bernice and Randy cared enough to get me more comfortable bandages. Shirley went above and beyond helping me pack up when I was ready to go. Dr. Johns and his NP checked on me daily and answered all my questions. It was great to see when they changed my orders, the nurses knew about it with no problems. I especially enjoyed the group therapy and the games we played. I was also impressed with the education they provided and the cleanliness of the rooms and each item we touched. Randy took time to find me a new tv remote since my speaker was blown. Cindy Cofield checked on me before discharge to make sure I was treated good and if I had any suggestions to do better. They all truly went above and beyond and they do it with all their patients. Do not hesitate to choose this place for yours, your family or friends rehabilitation needs. You will not regret it!

My stay at Encompass was very pleasant. The nursing staff were very professional and caring. The therapy department were also very professional and made the sessions easy to follow. Jeremy who did most of my therapy is very good at his job. I would recommend your facility to anyone who needed rehabilitation. Thank you for helping to get back on my feet.

I will say that to start with (first 3-4 hours) was a rocky start. But after that everything was smooth sailing. I was very impressed that the CEO was out walking the hallways and talking to the patients and asking how everyone was. He truly meant what he was asking and telling people. When he tells you that’s his face and his number on wall and feel free to contact him if you need it. He means it. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that needs it.

Best PT and OT that I have ever received! All of the training was above and beyond! Nurses & staff , OT and Physical Therapist were wonderful working with me! Case Worker, Susan, was so helpful and got me in a facility that is great for my needs. Excellent care! Thank you!

My dad transferred from the oncology floor to encompass in order to get stronger after a diagnosis of lung cancer and stroke. All the nurses Especially Maria and Donna were so kind and considerate of my dad. The case managers, Gloria and Ariana were amazing and so kind. The Director of rehab, Jackie, and all the speech therapist, physical therapist and occupational therapist were so understanding and tried their very best with my dad to get him stronger. I would recommend bringing your loved one for therapy services to Encompass 100%!

I was impressed with most every phase of my treatment at encompass health rehabilitation hospital. The food left a bit to be desired. The nurses, aids and housekeeping were all great! The tile grout in the bathroom is extremely filthy, filthy, filthy! The rehab instructors were all great!

I was a patient at Encompass after a knee replacement for 10 days. So glad to have been there as the staff was excellent. This includes the Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Nurse Techs and all the staff. I highly recommend Encompass to everyone that is in need of a rehab facility. The therapy was hard at times, especially at first but it helped me to walk again with help of a walker. Thank you, to everyone at Encompass who assisted with my recovery.

PT and OT were terrific. Food service left a great deal to be desired . Nursing staff for the most part. we great for the most great. A couple of the LPNs and techs displayed attitudes attitudesand should probably consider a different line of work. Overall. I was very satisfied with the results of stay.
