Megan is phenomenal, as well- runs the front desk and is friendly & professional, which makes for a warm & caring environment, nice job! As well as Osvaldo, PTA, who does a great job in his patience & understanding. Outstanding work Empower Team!

This has been by far the best physical therapy I have ever received. I have been in and out of so many different places over the past 10 years and finally found Empower. Fernando really prioritized my issue and took the time to research my condition and recommend another doctor to help and find what plan of action to take that would best suit me. I also really liked how I was with Fernando the entire time and it was never a new person that didn't really know my case like I have experienced in the past. Overall, if you are ever looking for a great physical therapist go to Fernando at Empower!

My experience at Empower Physical Therapy was excellent. Fernando Lobo and the staff at Empower helped me get back to work after a motor vehicle accident. Therapy was measured and tuned to accommodate my abilities and needs but also challenged me to strengthen and do more to improve my mobility and reduce pain. One-on-One care that was consistent and measured quality over quantity performance. I am very satisfied with my overall experience and performance following my physical therapy treatments with Fernando and the Empower Team at this location. I would recommend Fernando and this location without reservation. Thank you for all of your help!

I was sent to Empower Physical Therapy following a workman's comp injury to my left knee. The first time, my appointment was made by the PT broker (I suppose you would call them) through W/C. Making my following appointments with Tech Dodie was extremely easy, and I could make all of my allotted 12 appointments in advance at one time! The office is open, quiet and clean. Some of the equipment had seen better days, but is in working order. Therapist Fernando Lobo is amazing so far! He is thorough and is very attentive to the pain level and capabilities of his client. He is personable and is interested in knowing his clients, their lives and hobbies, and how he can improve their quality of life. He is knowledgeable, and makes sure that exercises he gives are understood and comfortable, also giving a printout and ability to watch them being performed on video. Tech Dodie is equally as attentive and personable. She makes your visit easier, and remembers each client like they have gone to the practice, even after one visit! I would recommend this PT practice to anyone needing to repair, strengthen, or rehabilitate. Empower Old Town cares about you as a client, and works hard for your recovery.

I’ve been seeing Fernando and Dodie for a couple months now at the Scottsdale location. I recently moved to San Tan Valley, an hour away, and I will still drive up 2x a week to see them for PT. The office is very nice and quiet, I like that it is a bit smaller. Fernando and Dodie make sure someone is always helping with exercises and there is a lot of one on one. They are wonderful, very friendly, personable, and attentive to patients’ needs. This is my favorite place I have ever had physical therapy! They put together a set of exercises specifically for where I’m having pain, and Fernando is excellent at helping loosen painful knots in my neck and back. I have met a few other people who work for empower that “float” to different locations as well; everyone has been incredibly nice! It is a pleasure to have my physical therapy here, and I am very pleased with the results thus far. Highly recommend this location!!

After a long hospitalization and several months of therapy at home I was finally strong enough for outpatient physical therapy. I visited several local therapy locations and was fortunate to find the perfect fit in Empower Physical Therapy. From the very beginning I was impressed with the Covid precautions and the constant effort to sanitize the therapy area and keep patients separated in different parts of the office. At my first visit, Fernando spent a considerable amount of time understanding my prior level of function, the complexity of my medical condition and the need to get back as much of my strength, balance and mobility as possible before I got the call that a donor was available for multi-organ transplant. Since that first visit, Fernando and his team have worked tirelessly to bring me back from an extremely debilitated state, progressing from a walker, to a cane to no assistive device all while taking into account my constantly fluctuating medical status. Even on my rough days his team was always ready with a smile and encouragement to get me through, especially the incredible Dodi. When I did get the call for my transplant I knew I was as physically prepared as I possibly could have been thanks to the team at Empower. I have continued to work post-transplant with Fernando and his team to continue to regain my everyday function and independence with the goal of getting back on the tennis court soon. I cannot recommend and endorse Empower enough and am forever grateful for the fact that they have been part of my recovery journey.

Awesome experience. Mike was great and really helped me learn a lot about the root causes of my knee injury and how to improve it. Still doing his recommended exercises a few times per week to prevent another overuse injury. Since finishing PT I've been able to complete another half marathon and hike the grand canyon without a knee brace, ibuprofen, or injuries! Definitely would recommend!

This Empower facility is the best physical therapy facility I have ever been to. I have had numerous injuries which have required physical therapy; however, recently I suffered a lower back injury due to a fall which made doing basic activities difficult. I have since been attending therapy sessions at this facility for a few weeks and it has been incredible. My back started to feel stronger after only a few sessions and continues to improve! The main physical therapist, Fernando Lobo, is incredibly attentive to his patients' pain levels and physical abilities. He is a caring and personable therapist and is always willing to go above and beyond for his patients. He always has new exercises to teach and develops a real interest in the lives of his patients outside of therapy. Dodie, one of the techs who works at Empower, is also incredibly kind and lively to be around. She has helped me through exercises on numerous occasions and always has a smile for everyone. I would recommend anyone to come to this facility if they are in need of physical therapy!
