My experience at Empower Physical Therapy was overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Ivy was very attentive to my initial concerns and also educated me on other management techniques specific to my C-section procedure. If you are considering pelvic floor physical therapy, I highly recommend this practice.

AMAZING!!! This was the best experience postpartum I had. I felt comfortable and all of my concerns or issues were validated. I was always well taken care of! My toddler and newborn were welcome to come to my appointments so I was able to take care of myself without scheduling a babysitter. I will be going back for prenatal care for my next baby!! Very much worth it!

I have seen multiple providers at empower and have had a great experience each time. They approach treatment with such care and knowledge. Very grateful to be matched with Macy, you can tell how much she puts into her craft with all the workshops and education she invest into her services. They don’t just focus of postpartum, I’ve had success with pelvic pain here. :)

Working wirh Dr. Ivy at Empower Physical Therapy has been life changing. After having two children, I was left with pelvic floor issues that I wasn’t sure would ever be reparable. The knowledge I have gained from working with Dr. Ivy has been priceless. I now understand how every aspect of my body impacts the health of your pelvic floor. After putting in the work, I finally feel like I’m back to my old self. I only wish I had seeked her out sooner!

Dr. Ivy is the best! I started pelvic floor PT during my pregnancy because of debilitating hip pain, which turned out to be SPD. I know a lot of pregnant women deal with this condition but seeing Dr. Ivy helped me maintain my mobility up until birth, which I’m so thankful for. She also helped me have the birth of my dreams by giving me pelvic floor exercises, Going to see her has been the best investment I made for my entire pregnancy/birth journey. I’ve been back to see her twice during the postpartum stage and she is helping me get back into the activities I’ve been wanting to get back to safely. Thank you Dr. Ivy! I highly recommend her to anyone, especially during the pregnancy and postpartum stages (amongst a myriad of other things!)

Dr. Ivy is the absolute best! I’ve gone to her for two postpartum recoveries now and she has made a world of difference! I literally felt a significant difference the very first time I saw her. I was having a lot of pain when I went in and she worked her magic and the pain was literally gone. She also gave me tips for giving birth the second time which totally helped for my recovery the second time around. It’s hard to make time with a newborn but it’s totally worth it and the only thing I be sure to make time for (because I’m worth it, duh!). I always leave her office feeling physically and mentally better. She’s so sweet and attentive and really truly listens to what I need and is quick to pivot to help with whatever needs help/attention. I came in with leg and lower back pain one time and she helped me with that as well (she’s so knowledgeable and I trust her more than my doctor)! She’s the best and well worth your time and money!

The best of the best. I came to Dr Macy just prior to major abdominal surgery for endometriosis looking for an effective yet trauma informed pelvic floor therapist for post op recovery. After a few horrible experiences that left me in tears I found Empower PT like a warm embrace on the coldest of days. This is a safe space that I highly recommend. PROGRAM: We’ve been using a variety of tools and doing everything from physical manipulation and massage (internal and external) to cupping, stretching and strengthening. I am learning to reconnect with my body and to be gentle. I appreciate that I’m given homework that I can actually accomplish and if something comes up, there’s never shame for not doing it. I really enjoy the easy to use app. RESULTS: In just two months so far, I’ve learned to walk again, move my body in more than one plane of existence, and begin to connect to my pelvic floor. HIGHLIGHT: The peace of mind that I have being able to TRUST a true professional with continued education and knowledge is invaluable and rare. I trust her more than my own PCP. And their compassion is next level. LOCATION: easy parking and access. Beautiful aesthetics and comfortable waiting room for my husband or friends who help me get around. I have to be honest I live downtown and I do not leave my bubble for anything but I drive all the way north every week absolutely worth it. Thank you Empower PT!

This was my first pelvic floor PT experience, and I felt comfortable the whole time! The team is wam and friendly, and Dr. Macy did a great job educating me about anatomy and specific home exercises.
