Elite Rehab

These guys don't want your business if you are a new (or existing patient). I called to make an appointment and was told: 1) I would be charged an $100 non-refundable administration fee to just be put on the schedule 2) They had nothing available for 2 months but once they saw me in two months, then I would have to wait equally long to book a follow up appointment.

I called Elite to schedule an appointment, but unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was not qualified for her position. I found her manner of referring to the customer to be unacceptable. As a former patient, I was disappointed and do not plan on calling them again.

Ryan is the best physical therapist around. He's tough -- he will push you and it will hurt, but you'll get results. Super caring and knowledgeable as well. Always like how easy it is to park and access too.

Person who called me asked me about my insurance info. Since she had not heard of it she stated her manager needed to agree to take it and if this happened she would call for benefits. If manager did not agree she would not.She seemed not interested having me do my PT there at all which is fine. I scheduled with another PT and they were happy to take my insurance, get benefits and cared about my PT visits and recovery.

This place WAS great 6 years ago. I love going here because of the great staff. But not sure what's going on here now. I left two messages one on Friday and the other on Monday and not once they called back. I tried calling them 3 times both days with no luck. I called the SB Elite and right away they answer the phone the first time. Don't waste your time here especially if your doctor recommended this place. Look and the star rating...

Called the Goleta office 6 times in 3 weeks each call going to voice mail. I left my name and contact information each time requesting a call back. On the 6th try I was finally able to speak to someone who then had to transfer me to the front desk in Goleta, which is where I thought I was. I began providing my information to that person with the slow spelling of my name. She continually spoke over me then asked me to repeat the spelling of my name only to ask me to repeat it yet again. Very bizarre and unprofessional. The first available appt was in 4 weeks. I opted out. If you can get past the front desk, I hear they are good.

I am leaving this review because of Malika at the front desk. She was extremely short, inattentive, impatient, and hung up on me mid conversation when attempting to schedule. This business need to re-evaluate who they have representing them to new customers who are post-op and in precarious situations.

The staff at Elite are absolutely wonderful to work with! I have attended for several months and look forward to my sessions. The positivity and affirmation of 100% healing along with firm yet gentle work by my therapist in learning to walk again has made, what I thought would be a grueling process, a great experience. I highly recommend Elite!
