El Cerrito Hand Therapy & Acupuncture Rehab

The main reason I had chosen this place (El Cerrito office) was their declared combination of Eastern/Western approaches to treatment, PT & AP. First, it is NOT an acupuncture place. They don’t do any acupuncture treatment there (El Cerrito). All u have is a stack of business cards, referring u to other people - yes, that’s the Acupuncture part… AND the AP part is not covered by your insurance, is what I was told! Definitely, false advertising. The PT part didn’t work for me. I was there five times & on the days after, my pain levels got WORSE. While everybody was pleasant, I didn’t find them capable or competent. It didn’t help that they were altering therapists in 4 of my 5 visits. Therefore, between the lack of honesty & lack of healing I would definitely NOT recommend this place, unfortunately.

After suffering for years and Kaiser doctor telling me the only option I have is surgery, I went to El cerrito hand therapy as a last resort before I schedule my surgery. Thank God I did. Susan examined me, even without x-rays, just by asking me to move my arm in certain directions and watching my movements, she fixed my issue within two weeks. I am so happy and since then have been recommending these exceptional team of healers to everyone.

I receive treatment at both the Oakland, and El Cerrito sites. Both are comfortable, quite, and relaxing. I have always learned of ways to support my self at home. The entire staff members are always pleasant, and when they say they will put you on the wait list, they do, and I’ve always been called for an appt. even after notifying them at 11:00am, I was given an appt at 3:50 the same day. I’m so happy to have been introduced to this organization. I have received excellent care and my conditions have improved greatly. Both sites are easy to locate and each person who treats you is fully area of your treatment record so that you don’t have to explain your case with each person that you receive treatment with. I recommend that if you are seeking therapy this is the place to go. 🌷🌈🙂 Thanks to all

Front office staff are super nice, attentive and helpful. The therapists are great. Street parking is always available. They work with you on your schedule. I have been a patient here for a year now.

Susan is an incredibly knowledgeable, caring and patient therapist. I came here for PT and acupuncture. Both were amazing.
