Eisenhower Health Center - Palm Springs at Sunrise

Usually when you have an appointment, this lab is good. I had my appointment 7 AM fasting blood work when I arrive there and had my blood work taken at five minutes after seven. They said I would have to wait another hour and be provided with another blood test at 8 o’clock due to their scheduling and pick up time for samples, I was there at 6:45 for an 7 o’clock appointment and I was made to sit in their lobby for over an hour. I was told it was time sensitive the test and that I would be taking another blood draw at eight no that didn’t happen. The blood draw was at 8:15 because they wanted to see me wait. I told them I didn’t want to sit another 10 minutes after eight but they were annoyed because I spoke up, when the phlebotomist was taking the second blood draw 8:15, I asked her what can be done to fix this problem. All of a sudden her annoyance on her face as she was “thinking” It was disgusting the whole morning and nasty to me. It wasn’t right what they did and their attitude was Bad. They weren’t nice. I was there on time. I sat and waited quietly, but no they couldn’t cooperate with somebody that was coming in fasting and then made to wait another hour. That was stupid, really stupid and they couldn’t get their attitude right. The only way around this problem is to make an appointment and then call and hassle them about that appointment and what the requirements are. There’s no other solution according to them and they can’t even guarantee they know, that was pathetic. They were sad and pathetic there. They need to know their job better so they can inform patients better but I don’t know that’s too much trouble. Haley was very rude in my face!

I visited this facility on 6/24 for blood work. I was greeted warmly and check in went fast and smooth. Then Irene drew the necessary blood and she was fantastic. On 6/27 I returned to a different office here for imaging. Same warm greeting and fast check in. Technician Gabby was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and reassuring. Two more awesome experiences with Eisenhower!

Each time I have come to this facility I have been seen on time by very happy friendly people. The facility is attractive and clean. Today I had a CT done. The two techs were super helpful. I appreciate them and all the rest of the staff here.

I had a Pulmonary Function Test 17 months ago. My doctors office requested my results multiple times. I requested them once. Medicare and Med-Cal paid thousands of dollars for the tests. Neither I nor my doctors office have ever seen my results. My chances of getting another test approved are zip. I reported them to the office of the US Surgeon General for disciplinary action! Never again. I hope they get charged with fraud because that is exactly what it is.

The front desk has a two-step check-in for labs, which slows down the process. You will wait well over an hour, even with an appointment, because people who complain get called in ahead. You are up to the mercy of the two extremely slow receptionists, while the techs wait for any patient to be sent in. I was called in and 3 out of 4 blood draw stations were free and waiting for patients, while the waiting room had 15 people and more arriving every 5 minutes. Dysfunctional protocol needs to be addressed to have a well functioning service for check-in. Blood draw itself takes less than 2 minutes and the techs are experienced and professional.

Went in with my wife for a mild head concussion. Excellent service and good care from anyone involved. Only one suggestion. To have Discovery+ blasting disaster stories of engineering collapses and "sudden catastrophe" in an urgent care waiting room might not be the wisest choice. A good piano classical music without the television going would be recommended.

Wonderful Experience! I love having a needle stuck in my arm and having 2 gallons of blood sucked out. What could be more delightful? I will say that it is a very nice lab, and the front desk and the lab technicians are fantastic. After all the worry, anxiety, and panic, I felt no pain and it was over before I knew it. The nice lady gave me a tissue to mop up the sweat dripping off my forehead, and she walked me to the door. I highly recommend this place!

I had forgotten how good an urgent care should be. They were busy but I was still there less than 2 hours and prescription next door within 20 minutes. Great job Eisenhower Staff
