Edisto Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

I have had personal experience with 3 doctors at this practice. They have all been courteous and attentive, and always paitently answered any questions I've had. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The office is nice and clean. Wait times are not bad. Appointment availability is good. I do not like the way they require patients to wear a mask. Some of us have valid medical issues where we cannot wear masks. I did witness a 70 something year old lady being turned away because she had health concerns and couldn't wear the mask. That made me angry. If the mask they wear protect them so well and they feel safe wearing one, why force one on others. I really love the doctors here but the mask requirement should not be forced on us.

I have lived in city’s and small towns of which small towns are my preference. It is so nice to know that we here in Walterboro have such a talented Orthopedist. The whole office is efficiently run and time is never their focus. Once you are there you don’t wait, your time is thought of as well as theirs. You the patient actually comes first. Dr. Conley explains thoroughly then gives you the patient time to ask questions and does this with patience. He may be in a hurry but you would never know! The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Along with all of that there is a very qualified terrific small town hospital with a big city purpose which is to take care of the patient with a positive outcome. Yes as I age I feel lucky to live in this community with a wonderful medical community to take care of me.

This was not my first contact with Dr. Larry Conley. I met him in the emergency room after my wife broke her hip. He treated her like she was the most important person he had ever treated. She was to me. I was impressed. After her release from the hospital we had the pleasure of meeting his office staff. A great bunch of people. After many months I had a fall and injured my shoulder, so I went to see Dr. Conley. Again outstanding service from the Doctor and his staff. I would have no hesitation to recommend them for anyone who needs Orthopedic medicine service.

From the very first time we met Dr. Conley and Dr. Rosen at the hospital,, we had a pleasant comforting experience among the tragedy we were going through. They were so nice, willing to thoroughly explain things and even remembered us months later. The staff at the office in Walterboro is so friendly, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend this practice!

I have to say that as a visitor from out of state I was a little apprehensive as to what my care would be like. I knew nothing about the doctor or his staff. But my fears were quickly put to ease! I was greeted by the staff with a wheelchair at the car, xrays were taken with great care & then I met Dr. Conley. He showed me the xrays & explained my injuries. We proceeded with a plan of care that I was happy with & I couldn’t be happier!

The staff is fast, friendly, and efficient. I think I have spoken to everyone in the office at one time or another and everyone there is very helpful. I came here for a second opinion as I was seeing a Dr. in Summerville about a shoulder injury. After seeing Dr. Conley and consulting with him about my shoulder I was comfortable with his diagnosis and approach to getting me well again. He had reviewed my MRI before hand and had a more in depth knowledge about what was going on than my original Dr. who only read notes and clearly was "winging" his diagnosis. Needless to say I won't consider any one but Dr. Conley treating me. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help. They truly care about their patients. Walterboro happens to be a very fortunate town to have this practice and Dr. Conley.

Always a wonderful experience! Staff is friendly & knows everyone by name as they wake through the front door. Very detailed explanations provided by Dr. Conley to ensure you are well informed.

My appointment was made within a reasonable time. I was seen by the medical staff within 5 minutes after signing in. The doctor diagnosed the situation, explained the care needed and compared this visit to a previous visit for the same problem. Medication was given and I was told to update the staff if there were any changes.
