I could not have asked for a more compassionate and caring facility to send my mother. I was a bit concerned with the bad reviews, but after speaking to my mother's neurologist, he stated that he had had great success with stroke rehab there. I am so glad I ignored the reviews, and visited the facility myself to assuage any reservations I had regarding it and its personnel. I cannot thank everyone enough for not only caring for my mother, but keeping lines of communication open with her family. To Admissions (Jenny); Social Services ( April, Amanda); the outstanding nurses (Cindy, Peggy, and Donna); constantly on-the-go CNAs (Kathleen, Petra); and Therapists (Kyle, Gabi, and Callie) working their butts off every day--THANK YOU. You constantly went above and beyond, and I will be forever grateful.

Do not send your loved ones to this horrible place!!! Some of the nurses could careless about the patients. They have left my grandparent sitting in a soiled diaper for 2hrs after she told them she needed changing. The one doctor never showed up to see my grandparent and the other doctor seemed like he could careless also. So many other problems with that place. If I could write a review without giving any stars then I would.

DO NOT send your loved ones to this nursing home if you want them to make it out alive. My mother was sent there from the hospital for 21 days of rehab. They took her off of medications that the hospital had just put her on. She was left in the toilet for 2 hours. After 2 weeks of being at this horrible place everything that the hospital had fixed they messed up. We had to have her taken by ambulance back to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital her blood thickness was at 12.9 which is ridiculously thin. They never once checked her PTINR while she was there. If I could give them a 0 rating I would. I am sure if she would have stayed at this facility any longer she wouldn’t be with us. Please do not let your loved ones be sent to Eastern Shore Nursing Home!

If I could say -10 I would! So sad as others have said . No communication with family. My husband when so long without a bath, I had to put him in the shower myself! They said oh he gets a shower on Tuesday and Friday. I had to shower him to be able to visit because of the smell. They told me if he needed anything he had to ask. He has a memory problem I told them he would not ask. The were susposed to evaluate him when he came in and in two weeks update us, which they did not. I asked if he would automatically get out in 20 or 21 days, I was told no. We will get with you and discuss a plan. Which did not . Few days later I get call from husband he is being released. No update , sign papers, here’s your medication and wheeled to car.

BEWARE! If I could give this zoo NO STARS I WOULD. My love one was there for 2 months and received the worst care. He was left unattended and fell out his bed. Left soiled for hours. Discharged without any orders. Home health care had no record of his discharge. Under staffed. I never seen any facility when there’s NO NURSE, DOCTOR, NO CNA when a patient is discharged. Absolutely NO COMMUNICATION!! Please check on your love ones. We were there everyday I can imagine what would have happened if we weren’t. Thank you for the few that cared for him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!!!!

Very nice facility, beautiful location, and friendly people; it could be the perfect place for a loved one. My mom was in the rehabilitation part and then long term care. Rehabilitation therapy was good. Care on the floor, not so much. Then she moved to the long-term care section. Everyone is very friendly when you can find them. Things were very slow to be addressed (if at all). Usually taking at least an hour to resolve every issue. I do NOT recommend this place!

My 91 year old father was given permission to come downstairs to celebrate his birthday. However the person who had given permission left for the day before we arrived. The replacement refused to alliw our father to come downstairs to have birthday cake. The entire family has had both COVID vaccines and we were all wearing masks. What was the point of refusing to let him come down for birthday cake? Just simple pettiness? A desire to exert authority?

My mother has had to go into rehab several times in last couple of years. Her last 2 times were here and everyone has been most gracious, efficient, helpful and compassionate to my Mom and I appreciate the effort they make, as none of us is perfect. Its always very clean, peaceful when Im there and a small plus is that the residents can watch the sun set on the bay if they are able to walk or wheel to the end of the hall; there's a large picture window there for veiwing.
