DO NOT GO THERE FOR WORKERS COMP. I got referred here for an initial evaluation, which was a mistake on workers comp part since apparently Dr Stein does not want to provide workers comp evaluations, as he told me. However, he did provide them a report and accused me of exaggerating symptoms, which got my claim denied, even though a Kaiser occupational health doctor later diagnosed me with tendinitis and referred to physical therapy. That appointment got canceled when the denial came though and I had to start all over getting referrals through my PCP while going through the lengthy appeals process. Really unprofessional to gaslight a patient and delay their care. If workers comp shouldn't have sent me there, just refer to occupational health and leave it at that, no need to pretend to be a psychologist on top of that.

Dr Franko is very pleasant and reassuring. I had a bad fingertip injury that required surgery and I like that he sat down with me and told me everything that was going to happen beforehand. He also said "I love fingertips" which I will never forget because it was a great thing to hear after the hassle and anxiety of ER, referrals, etc. His staff is 100% friendly and fun, the only problem has been getting his assistant to connect me with phys therapy after care.

Had a wonderful experience throughout my medical-surgical experience with Dr. Franco during the past 7 weeks I was under his care. He was very personable, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and explained everything about my injury, the treatment he would do/did, and overall treatment plan including follow up care. He is very knowledgeable and truly a patient-centered doctor. I would recommend him to anyone needing his surgical expertise.

Post op transfer to Dr. Franko.First time he was pleasant, the second time to remove cast and off to rehab, unfortunately he had terrible bed side manners. I was asking questions, the do and don't kind. He was bothered by my questions and says to me you're the kind of person if my shirt was black you would say blue . I'm thinking what does this have to do with my questions. I finally said better to ask questions now, then to call later. I'm very disappointed, my surgeon in Southern CA was very polite and answered all my questions at that stage of recovery. Dr. Franko was unprofessional and uncaring.. sounds like others had better experience..By the way this is my first review ever..wish I saw Dr. Stien now.and I drove 260 miles round trip.

Extremely polite, knowledgeable, efficient staff. Dr. Franko knew immediately what was wrong with my wrist and quickly and efficiently took care of it. I didn't need to go for a follow up appointment and it hasn't bothered me since. I recommend him highly!

The nursing team was excellent. They were extremely attentive, and helped reduce any stress. Dr. Franco did a very professional job on my Carpal Tunnel - has only been one day, but this was my first night without numbness in my hand waking me up.

Dr. Orrin Franko did an excellent job in addressing my hand problem. I'm very happy for the recommended treatment, my right hand got healed that I don't have to undergo surgery. Thank you

Dr. Franco is a straight up cool dude. He is a knowledgeable and skilled surgeon who knows how to connect where are you are. From jump he explained my situation with words, pictures, and illustrations. He clearly explained my options where in I was confident in my choice. From the initial consultation, through the surgery, and meticulous follow up, we met at my level and I knew he specifically cared about my recovery. He is not only an exceptional professional but an excellent human being. I recommend him highly.
