Dynamic Physical Therapy

Karen, Jessica and their top-notch physical therapists, PT assistants and office staff are all professional, caring, respectful and offers the best therapy here in the desert. Starting with hammer toe surgery in 2017, knee replacement in 2020, and a couple of other physical challenges in 2021-22, the results were always a success. A special thanks to my therapist, Melissa.

I have worked with Karen on both knee replacements and have always found her and the staff to be both professional and personable. I felt she was always making the goal of getting me back to a normal life without pain. She knows what the body can and should do pushes you in a most positive way to get there.

Unfortunately this review isn’t about a pleasant experience. I have been doing aquatic physical therapy for years due to severe and chronic back and neck injury. I set up the appointment, but had a ONE specific question to ask about the therapy before following through with it.After a couple attempts to ask the question over the phone. I was told only the therapist could answer that question. That I had to come in person before the question can be answered .So after a couple attempts with NO help. I went to the location. When I got there again I wanted to ask my very simple question, but was told I had to fill out all the paperwork and personally speak to the therapist. In other words they wanted to bill my insurance for me asking one simple question before doing the therapy. So my response to this was why would you bill my insurance to ask a question. Aidi the “office manager” she made sure to let me know that was her title. Her words were “It shouldn’t matter , your not having to pay for it in a rude attitude. I knew right there that this wasn’t the place for me. If your charging my insurance a office visit for a question. What else are you charging them for. It was a very unprofessional and disrespectful experience that wasn’t necessary. Hopefully my insurance isn’t billed for cancellation anyway. I will make sure and let them know what happen. I don’t recommend this place.

After rotator cuff surgery, I had 14 weeks of physical therapy. Karen Elbert gave me the first 6 weeks of therapy ( the last 8 weeks were in my home state of CO).Karen was friendly, professional, and very good at her profession! I was able to start hitting tennis balls again at 4 months, serve at 4 1/2 months, and begin playing at 5 months. I am now 11 1/4 months after surgery with no pain and total motion. I highly recommend Karen Elbert and Dynamic Physical Therapy!

I suffered a painful fracture of my arm. I worked with Karen at Dynamic Physical Therapy. She was outstanding working with me on my pain and limited range of motion. I looked forward to my visits and could feel the improvement over the weeks. She gave me very good exercises to work on at home and I looked forward the massages on the shoulder to work on the scar tissue! Excellent therapy. I highly recommend you contact Karen and this office if you have an injury!

I'm working with Tracy on a bad calf muscle sprain. She is excellent! I should be back on the tennis court soon. The same can be said for Karen who rehab'd me 8 years ago after shoulder surgery. I specifically searched them out with the recent injury. Very professional, friendly, and expert in their field!

Normally I wouldn't take the time to review a doctor's visit, however the exceptional service and genuine care I received has helped me to regaine control of my life and subsequently my identity. Ever since I fell 25 feet trying to jump the K2 canyon in Utah I've had major knee pain and issues that have left me sitting on the sidelines. Dynamic Physical Therapy gave me individualized rehabilitation program that catered to my needs both during sessions and at home. I am now back to almost 100% thanks to their professionalism and deep expertise.

Karen was ridiculously knowledgeable about my lateral epicondylitis. I have been suffering for years with excruciating elbow pain from shoveling rock all these years. With a few weeks of treatment including “homework”, I was drastically better. I was able to do all my favorite activities again! Thanks karen !! You are the best !!!!
