This building is uniquely located in a quiet neighborhood that backs up to the creek and mountains, yet is just minutes from downtown. The back patios have creek access and sitting areas so that you can enjoy time with your loved ones in nature. The facility itself is older, but is very well maintained, and is exceptionally clean. The housekeeping and laundry team do a really great job. The Therapy team is also all in house so there are no contracted therapists which make for a really great and quick rehab experience. I work with the management team, and they are all very dynamic and eager to help out with any requests.

I’ve been so impressed with the team at Durango Health and Rehab. The building is a little older but they have kept it up very well! It’s clean with spacious rooms, but I think the best thing about it is the staff there. They have some team members that have been there for more than 20 years!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. They truly care about the people that come in and treat them as if they were their own. Love that it also has a homey feel being in a neighborhood. Highly recommend Durango Care and Rehab. Great team there!

My family could not be more pleased with the care my mother has gotten at the facility since her fall. The entire staff is upbeat, positive, caring, and committed to their work. This includes everyone from the housekeeping staff up through the administration. While it was hard to have our mom away from us, we never worried about the care she was receiving. They even looked after my dad, who spent all day everyday with her. They showered him with care and support as well. Thank you to all who make the Durango Rehabilitation Center a wonderful place to get the care you need when in that circumstance. I wish I could name everyone individually, but this review would be even longer than it already is. God bless you all for the work you do. You’re all angels!

This is a great place to work. I’m enjoying my journey and enjoy all the staff I have encountered. Management does their best to make sure the employees are well taken care of and appreciated. We are in a transitioning phase but once we’ve established a solid foundation then DHR will be ready to take on the job at hand. Happy employees equals happy residents. 😁

Wow! This place is amazing! The team is truly resident focused and there is a lot of history residing inside. I know that there has been a lot of changes in ownership over the last few years, and so I am excited to finally get some stability for these amazing people.
