I am on a maintenance schedule. Dr. Ridgway keeps everything in balance. Then when something new pops up he’s right there bringing balance again. Staff are all attentive with a great attitude!!

In town visiting and had acute lower back pain. I was able to get a same day appointment with Durango Chiropractic and was really impressed with my treatment. I had X-rays taken and Dr. Ridgway walked me through what he saw. I was able to have an adjustment and left with relief. I’ll be back in for another treatment before heading back out of state and will plan on seeing Dr. Ridgway for care every time we visit if needed.

I'm glad that I stopped listening to all the myths about going to a chiropractor. So I decided to post this review and tell you about the process i am going through and the benefits I am experiencing since I have been going to Durango Chiropractic #1. It's not dangerous ! Just like any other Dr visit. I told Dr. Ridgeway the problems I was having with my back and how they were effecting my daily life. He took x-rays and showed me what was going on with my spine. The right part of my hip was 5 mm lower than the left part. That's when I realized that the oral steroids I was prescribed by my spine specialist and the painfull back injections were not addressing the root cause of my pain and daily back problems #2. You have to go the Chiropractor for the rest of your life. Well a Chiropractor is no different then going to your family Dr. or Dentist for a specific problem. Dr. Ridgeway gave me a specific treatment plan that addressed and will fix the cause of my back problems, and not just mask the pain and symptoms. It requires a specific amounts of treatments, to get me back to normal. And just like any Doctor or Dentist. I know I will need maintaince visits to keep my spine healthy. #3 it only helps in the short run and does not fix the problem. Totally FALSE!!!! I have completed just over half of the visits of my treatment plan and haven't felt this good in over 2 years. My daily back problems are almost non existent. My body posture is great. I am standing tall and straight. My lower hip pain is gone and I don't have pain when walking or just laying down. Great energy not great pain. I also don't have sinus issues, head aches that run from lower neck to my head or heartburn. Rember your spine and nervous system control your whole body. I can go on and on about how I am feeling compared to the last 2 years. But I won't. If your having pain go see a Chiropractor. You won't be disappointed. Call Durango Chiropractic. With the snow all winter and the construction on my ingress/egress, I haven’t been able to keep a lot of my appointments. They have worked around all this without complaint. My back is much better even without the consistency of planned care.

Dr. Ridgeway and his staff are really amazing. I always feel so much better after an adjustment.

I have been struggling with slipped L4 disk and bulge L5/S1 for 4 years. I did spine specialist with injections for 3 years. Was informed that the only way to fix my back was with fusion entailing fusion of L3, L4 and S1. I didn't have the money, time or ability to lose the weight needed to have the back surgery. I was still in pain even after having the bulge reduced. I was told by a friend to try chiropractor. I looked up Durango Chiropractic on Google after seeing his ad on Facebook, for his donation of part of his services to Adaptive sports. Dr. Ridgeway was very honest and upfront with my issue. I appreciated he took ex-rays on first appointment. In the beginning I had to see him 3 times a week for first 6 weeks. Gradually went to twice a week, once a week and now I am to once every other week now a year into using his services. I will always have my slipped disk. But I am able to maintain some of my pain with keeping my spine aligned the best we can with having circulation to my lower back. Highly recommended Durango Chiropractic.
