Drayer Physical Therapy Institute

I have been attending PT since the end of November for a neck injury/car wreck. The staff have been wonderful and really try to give me suggestions to help try to ease my pain. They push me to keep going even when I feel like giving up. They revise things on my hurting days. They always have a smile and a kind word of support! Would definitely recommend this awesome team!

My daughter was recently treated at Drayer Physical Therapy at the University of Alabama. You could not ask for a better experience in the way they treated my with kindness and professionalism and they were able to quickly diagnose and treat her ailment. Months later I called to request some information concerning billing for tax purposes. Their staff took the extra time to search their records and crate a itemized list for me going beyond what I had originally requested. I highly recommend Drayer Physical Therapy for their professional yet down to earth treatment of their patients.

The therapists and staff at Drayer Rec are "AMAZING" (I mean every bit of the word), all around. Today is my last day after 2x a week for 9 months for what started off as neck twitching, to working on full body from head to toe. Wear and tear from a military background and being an athlete, I surpassed my goals or intentions because Brett, very driven on accomplishing something every visit, I've learned so much from him. Even the lighter days from him felt challenging 😂. Everything I did, whether struggled, improvement and new exercises, you best believe he was my number one cheerleader and my coach that applies ALL the pressure at the same time. He made it fun and not so serious, though took my time and concerns serious. If "puts in genuine work" was a staff, Drayer Rec exemplifies just that. Their personalities balances and meshes very well with us patients. Being I've attended so long and consistent with my therapy, I've seen many patients come and go, trainees, etc., yet the staff and their vibe is ALWAYS the same. If they have bad days, I could never tell. When I had bad days, it quickly desolved being in the environment. This team is solid, super personable, understanding, thorough, polite, consistent, determined, great listeners and teaches you alot about your body, committed and dedicated, push you hard. The environment feels like a close family/team type vibe, no matter how new you are, everyone is welcomed and felt a part of it. Bree's personality, thoroughness, from phone calls, to reminders, to changes administratively, has to make anyone feel welcomed. I hear and see Bret quizzing his students all the time and he let's them flow in their learning. He's very great at observant. He has great multitasking skills in working with more than one patient and teaching his student at the same time, with balance, attention and focus. He's the best I've had. I feel as though I had my own personal trainer and his athletic background enhances his variety in skills in what he does. He makes it all fun, especially with his sidekick Tom, usually in his own zone, so gentle and attentive, yet he always ready to slide in and team up with Bret on the fun actions, activities and challenges. Quite funny 😂. I truly don't have all the words to express my satisfaction with my experience, growth and healing here. I've gained way more more I expected. Im stronger, more flexible, less pain and aches and I left with maintenance that works for me. They have left a lasting impression on me, to include the ones that help with ice, heating, stem, and assistances. I really value and appreciate this experience with so a beautiful group of staff members that seems to really enjoy what they do. Thank you Drayer Recreation!
