Dr. Lider Chan

I was referred to Lider in 2021 by a patient of his after re-herniating a disc I had had surgery on back in 2014. I unfortunately re-herniated that disc (brushing my teeth go figure), after recovering from a severe wrist injury. I saw several specialists at Cedars, got an MRI and was told under no uncertain circumstances I needed surgery, probably a fusion. Lider has changed my life. Before seeing him, I believed that I was destined for a life of grumpiness, fear of travel (due to pain caused by sitting too long), and unpredictable pain around every corner. It didn’t happen overnight, but his methods work. I never had the surgery, and within 6 months of seeing him (twice a week visits to be fair) I had reduced my pain to before my second severe herniation. Within a year 75% less pain than after my previous surgery. Now, two years later I’m pain free 99% of the time. I never had that surgery.

Dr Chan’s ability to help with knee pain, before and after knee replacement, is amazing. He and his staff are efficient, warm and kind. I’m so grateful.
