Douglas Manor

I visited a dear friend today who lives at the Manor and, as always, I was so impressed at how the staff treats each resident with respect and dignity. Their kindness and patience amazes me. They always seem go above and beyond to make sure each resident has the personal attention that they require. If you are looking for a home for your loved one, I would definitely recommend Douglas Manor.

Zero stars. My Father was admitted as a dementia patient with fall risk to get rehabilatative physical therapy. The same day he was admitted he fell and broke his hip. He deceased a few days later. I would strongly caution anyone with a loved one with any type of dementia against admitting their loved one here.

I have been very happy with the care Douglas Manor has given my mother for the time she has spent there. The nursing staff and everyone have been really caring and thoughtful with my mothers care and needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for long term care for their family members in need.

My mother has been at this facility for about a year and she is so happy with everything at Douglas Manor. She was at two other facilities prior and they were not even close to DM when it comes to care and compassion for the residents. Clean building and grounds along with professional caring staff, I can't thank Douglas Manor enough for the quality of life my mom has there. Everything you would hope for when you need a loved one cared for.

Douglas Manor is a beautiful establishment. It’s very clean and accommodating. The staff and nurses are very kind and caring! The food unfortunately is the only downfall. I wish they could introduce better meals that are more appetizing for their seniors with more options as well! Food should be enjoyable!!

My daughter-in-law was moved here for rehab today. All of the staff have been attentive and kind in getting her settled. The room was clean and comfortable. She said she was hungry, and someone quickly appeared with something for her to eat that met her dietary guidelines. So far I am very happy with our family’s experience at this facility.

The staff was conscientious , friendly and helpful from the receptionist to the staff on the unit. Special thanks to Nurse Emily who was kind and attentive to my 93 yo mom who was visiting her 95 yo sister. The facility was clean and it’s evident that all take pride in their jobs. Great job, Douglas Manor staff!!!
