DOT Exam SoCal Clinic

I don’t review often, but this clinic shows up as an advertised location when searching up “FAA medical examiner near me” When I call first thing I say “hey brother, are you guys an FAA medical examiner” as to not waste too much of his time. His response to me was “No, you need an MD to get authorized by the FAA to examine” I respond “Oh okay cool, sorry to bother you, this number is just the first option advertised under “FAA medical examiner“ on google” He goes “you’re just young and picky” and hangs the phone up before I have a chance to respond. dude I need an FAA authorized examiner, for commercial flight school, how am I picky. lol

This place is a scam, sketchy gave me a 3 month medical instead of 2 years and wanted an afitional 60 dollars for the extra set of copies for DMV that every single place includes for free, stay away. Unable to give zero rating otherwise I would.

rude staff, i called with a simple question and he said to me i quote " have your sister call the 7/11 around the corner" and hung up... Check your front desk lol no need for that rudeness over a simple question.

Do not come here. They gave me 3months with DOT, went to a cheaper clinic and got 2 years. Nurses always gossip in the lobby with no shame. Also the doctor is almost never there.

I came to do my DOT exam and I had the nicest experience here. The ladies are nice and most importantly bilingual. Loved the fact they are bilingual. The doctor is nice and professional. Heard what I had to speak and by far, respectful.

I called to get information for a physical exam. The gentleman who answered the phone advised me $100 I was like oh okay. I asked do you take insurance. He laughed and he’s like” no pay $100 no insurance” clearly he forgot that the website states private insurance welcome. I advised him that it was rude for him to laugh, he told me “shut up, bye” ended the call. Now that’s no way to provide customer service or it’s good for your business. May you have a great day. I will not be sending future clients here. Thank you.

First time DOT here and I had a great experience. Crystal was extremely polite and accommodating. Some of the reviews paint the doctor to seem rude but in my opinion he's just a no nonsense type of guy that runs a clean operation and does things by the book. Testing equipment seems legit and I won't hesitate to return. Especially since they guarantee to honor the same price on my renewal.
