This was my first time visiting and I truly enjoyed thr fellowship with the residents seeing the smile on their faces and how they interact with us. The prayers, singing, reading of God's word . I'm exciting just seeing how exciting they were. Looking forward to coming back again.

My mom received rehab here after her hip replacement. All the staff was professional and kind! The rehab staff really helped my mom get back to herself with confidence. Ms. Cynthia was exceptional, the way she pushed my mom and prayed over her shows the compassion she has in what she do. My mom also appreciate the staff that cared for Abi, Isatu, Max, and lastly Nurse Kumba.

On July 30th, Tasha at 100 wing desk, suggested it'd be good for me to meet my 94 year old uncle when he was transported to Washington Hospital CTR the next day for a scheduled appointment. It was great I listened to her as transport left him sitting in waiting room outside burn unit (where he would've been sitting for hours). I found him & filled the reqd papers so he was seen only an hour past his apptmt time. Plus the transport back to Genesis had him waiting for over an hour in hot sun. Tasha's suggestion saved a lot of confusion & time. Update: Doctor's Rehab turned into a bad experience overall. My uncle didn't get the rehab support needed, ending up no better after over 3 weeks. Not sure if understaffed, staff not very responsive or what. But we removed him after 3+ weeks as he seemed worse after time there. So Lowered rating.

It's comforting to know your loved one has everything that could need here. My goodness the rooms are so large. And has a view out of the large window, but it's the staff are very attentive and I love the smiles, friendliness and kindness they share. Thank you

When we got there it was easy to get in. You sign up on kios. The front desk receptionist was very friendly. When you walk done the hall you could smell poop we addressed it and they fixed the problem right away. I definitely would recommend it.

We had a very positive experience here with our step-father. They treated him extremely well and provided great care. They even delayed his discharge a few more days to allow us to finalize arrangements for our step-father to come home, so he would not be home alone. The facility was always clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to the case worker, Erin. She was phenomenal. Thank you so much.

ROSE AND MAX ARE KIND AND CARING PEOPLE AND TREATED MY MOTHER LIKE SHE MATTERED. THE REST OF THE STAFF ACTED LIKE THEY DIDNT HAVE TIME. THE GUEST SERVICES MANAGER SAID SHE WOULD VISIT MY MOTHERS ROOM TO DISCUSS SOME CONCERNS, BUT NEVER SHOWED UP. MY MOTHER WAS IN YOUR FACILITIY FOR 3 OR 4 DAYS BEFORE RECEIVING ANY SERVICES. 5 OR 6 DAYS BEFORE RECIEVING A SHOWER. PLEASE DO BETTER.

DO NOT and I REPEAT – DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. They do not even deserve a 1. There is no communication, returned phone calls, or giving a S _ _ t what you are asking or telling them. I was there every day that my Husband was in this place they called a rehab center. When you call and ask for a certain person, they put you through to a phone that takes a message that no one ever checks OR to a number that rings and rings. The Director of Nursing is the WORST. We called the MAIN OFFICE to COMPLAIN, and she immediately went to my husband the day she was notified after we called – never to be seen or heard from again – WITH NO CHANGE! Medicines were added several times while he was there. None of them were smart enough to get them in a timely manner or at all. When he left, he still did not have medicine that was prescribed 2 weeks prior to him leaving that was very important for him. He was prescribed double protein for his meals. Each meal came with a sheet that said it. After trying for 2 weeks to get someone to answer a phone or call us back, my daughter had to drive several hours from her home to get to the Rehab Center. She told them that she was not leaving until she spoke to someone. For Breakfast and Lunch, a very nice server made sure that he had double protein BUT at dinner time, EVERY night I chased them down to show them the piece of paper that said double protein. Pissed is an understatement when I showed them the paper. Then they finished serving everyone else, THEN brought his dinner to him. He is a diabetic – Don’t think that he didn’t get a BIG BROWNIE and COOKIES for dessert. I gave up and I threw more food out that he couldn’t eat, and it was ridiculous that he was even served it. Many of the nurses acted MAD when you asked them for anything. The evening and weekend nurses were the WORST. They were very unprofessional and rude. Most of them lack any type of communication skills and the nurse management led the way in being the top Unprofessional person. It took hours to get a glass of water, BUT when I was there, I waited 15 minutes and then started walking the halls to find someone to give him a glass of water. I had to start bringing in bottled water for him. When I would get there after work, I would watch the nurses’ station to see when they would put the patients snacks on it – only because one day that I was leaving the Center early, they were already on the nurses’ station desk. Many of the snacks were from a refrigerator, and it could be as long as 1 or more hours before they were handed out. I checked with my husband as to what time he received it. I told my husband – NEVER – eat the snack or you will get sick from them sitting out. He was brought a sandwich with meat on it and I even asked at the nurses station why the evening snacks sat on the nurses station desk for so long before being served – talk about Nasty Looks! The alarm for the door at the end of the hall went off all the time and no one paid attention to it. NOONE wanted to bother with it. My husband was there for about 5 weeks, so I talked to many visitors who saw me coming and going every day. Many of them asked me who they could talk to or Complain to for something to get done. I called Edwardo at the Rehab Center (Name and Number the Main Office gave me). Don’t waste your time!!! He is totally useless!!! Hopefully you will not get the Social Worker, Natalie. She is absolutely terrible! She said she called to check on several different services and they were covered – BUT WE GOT BILLED – NOT COVERED!!! It takes her days, weeks to do anything!!! AND DO NOT EXPECT HER TO GET BACK TO YOU IN A TIMELY MANNER. TO BE FAIR: There were 2 nurses who were fabulous and the PT and OP People that helped him were Very Good also. I’m going to pay the Rehab Bill the same way they treated my husband. A little bit or NOT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
