I experienced low back pain for months. I went to see Brian Goodwin at District Performance and Physio. Brian was very patient and goal-oriented with how I could improve and reduce pain through exercises over time. He took the time to send me detailed instructions for exercises I could work on daily. Brian is very smart and gives me thoughtful tips on exercises I can work on to reduce my lower back pain over time. He even changed the exercises a bit each session as I improved.

I had a fantastic experience with Brian as my PT. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I came in with an elbow issue. In our first session, we agreed what success would look like for me and what my priorities were. He then put together a plan of action for us to follow and gradually built in more difficult exercises for me to do. He also consistently checked in with me to measure my progress, make sure that we were on the same page and to ask if I had any questions or concerns. My elbow is feeling much better now. Lastly, he was a just a very nice guy - he reassured me when I was concerned about the state of my elbow and I enjoyed my sessions with him

My experience at District Performance & Physio with Ashlee and Brian was exceptional. The physical therapists here are incredibly knowledgeable and gave me outstanding care. They took the time to understand my injury and created a personalized treatment plan that really worked. I highly recommend District Performance & Physio to anyone seeking excellent physical therapy.

Brian Goodwin saved me when I needed it most. I’m a musician touring on Broadway shows and was in town for three weeks. In that short period of time, and subsequent virtual meetings, Brian listened to every ailment that was plaguing me (including a recent ulnar nerve surgery) and had an immediate plan of attack. The questions “what are your goals?” and “what do you want out of these sessions?” were questions dozens of other physical therapists neglected to ask and turns out what I needed to hear. Thank you so much to Brian for getting me back on my feet performing again! 🙏

A friendly and accessible team who personalizes treatment expertly. I was having knee pain in my triathlon training but after 5 appointments with Brian/Ashlee I was able to complete the race pain free. They also have a very flexible and communicative administration team for scheduling and payment. Great experience!

Ashlee Kim at District P&P recently helped me when I was suffering from my first ever bout of vertigo, aka BPPV. She was amazing! After she did a thorough review of my condition, she recommended some activities to help get me back to my usual, active self. I was also super impressed with her follow-up to see how I was doing and if I had questions. She was a great source of information and confidence building when I needed it. I was totally back to normal about 10 days after getting hit with BPPV. If you ever need help with vestibular therapy in the DMV, go see Ashlee!

Ashlee at District Performance & Physio is fantastic! I started seeing her a few weeks after my baby was born with the goal of safely getting back to running postpartum. Ashlee did a full assessment to identify weak spots and suggested exercises to help me address them. She also helped with some persistent back and shoulder pain from nursing that emerged early in our sessions and some other annoying pains I experienced on and off pre-pregnancy. Ashlee is so kind and my baby was welcome at the appointments, which made the logistics much easier for me. After weekly sessions for about two months, I ran a 10k at my goal pace! I can’t recommend DP&P enough, especially for new moms. I wish I started seeing her before baby came!
