Updated 12/2023: HVAC still has not been replaced/upgraded. Spending more on temporary fixes than updating the system. Food is still inedible, poor quality. Facility itself is decent enough. CNAs and Nurses tend to go on breaks/lunches all at the same time on weekend evenings when supervisors are not there. UPDATE 2020: I haven't been able to physically visit with my mother since March, there is a couple cases of the virus (brought in from outside sources, as the patients have been on lockdown for 4 months). This is fine. No virus cases till this month (July), 8+ positive cases (mostly staff). The A/C doesn't work and it is summer! The virus is going from nurses to patients and the facility NEEDS to get the A/C system upgraded and WORKING!!! My mother has been here since 2018, for the most part it is satisfactory. As with any facility you have good and bad issues. The food is disgusting, I wouldn't feed it to my dogs! I bring my mother food/water/necessities every week. As with other reviews when the "call" button is pushed no one shows up for almost an hour! There are SOME (not all) great CNAs there and I appreciate them, but they are overworked and seldom recognized. This facility focuses on profits over patients first. During this covid19 pandemic the owners asked staff why the facility wasn't accepting new patients to fill the beds?! Seriously are they crazy?!?!! Admitting new patients would put the other patients at risk! I call my mother every night and any issues she has I deal with promptly!!! If you take your family member here you have to stay on top of their care......

The staff is impossible to reach by phone. I called the facility 5 times in a day and still was unable to reach someone. I am a nurse and have worked in a nursing home before and this is just poor business. It should not be that you have to physically drive to their facility to talk to staff, even then they can be hard to find.... The facility does seem clean though and the receptionist who answers during the day is friendly.

I'm a long term resident and have been there for 5 years now and I'm also the the President for the residents of Diamond Ridge. My CNA's and nurses are very caring and take good care of me. My treatment nurse Gracie has done a wonderful job with my treatment and has been trying hard to heal it. The activity department has been doing a great job trying to keep us active with activities. The facility as done an excellent job during this Pandemic in keeping us safe and I appreciate it.

My mom went to Diamond Ridge from the hospital 4 days ago because she needed to get stronger before going home. Since then, she’s weaker, isn’t eating and not answering her cell phone. My dad can only visit for 30 minutes a day (prearranged appointments due to COVID), always in the lobby or outside- we have no idea what the care is like- other than being told they’re understaffed. I’ve tried calling the facility’s phone number for 3 days. First day, no one answered- I tried calling 3 times. The past two days, when I call, the call drops immediately! I’m so worried!

I'm here because I have covid #1 they treat me as if I got this on purpose #2 the staff is so rude #3 they have no sugar salt pepper, only water to drink. I had to call the main # just to get that. #4 they don't provide clean sheets or towels if yours are dirty. #5 it seems I should be getting some kind of medicine to help get better. they don't even do that. I feel I'm getting worse.

My mother in law was at this facility and had a very pleasant experience. This was the first time for her to be in a nursing home so it was overwhelming. This was one of the facilities recommended to us by the hospital. The facility had a rep that came to the hospital to talk to us about the care that she will receive there. She eased us through the process and we made our decision. I immediately googled and saw many bad reviews. She encouraged us to come and take a tour and I'm glad we chose Diamond Ridge for her to get rehab. I recommend you come in for the tour instead of the negative reviews. The rehab team was amazing, especially Chris. Thank you for the care my mother in law received.

My mom is here and yesterday 8/31/18 I went to visit her art 8:30 am and she was sweating and wanted a sponge bath. So I asked if they could give her one and they did. They changed her adult diaper and bed sheets also. I left and came back at 3:45 and my mom told me she hadn't been changed since I left. So I took it upon myself to do it and it. At that time 4 cnas walked in to see what I was doing and left to go get wipes and would not come back. By the time the 4th one came back I had changed her already and waited for the CNA to wipe her. My mom isn't a permanent resident but only here for a week due to knee surgery. This place needs to work on their mannerisms with family and the employees need to stop walking around aimlessly .

This is the worst sorry excuse of staff that call themselves Medical professionals. Not only was my brother denied his medication for over 24hrs. As an apology was giving and assured it was an out of ordinary accurance. Well the day after that I return and find my brother again was not giving another medication. When the patent try to alert the staff with there call button a light comes on outside there room. No sound, blinking I purposely sat out of the way for almost 2hrs watching the way this place is ran. Medications are not being administered there not being cared for they are left in there room to lay and hope someone comes in. The nurses don't know if meds are already giving by the previous shift if your not keeping track of. How do u know that patient isn't going to OD. people are screaming, being left with urine all over them self's while being ignored. It was 1nurse to 30 patients. Can anyone say illegal. (nurse to patient racio law does exist. So what is this facility doing with the $ they are charging to care for our loved ones. I suggest if you have a loved one here u check on them cause from what I have seen in the last couple of days is unexceptable. .and something will be done.
