Desert Sage Medical Clinic

Sandy the medical lab tech was great. There was an issue regarding which test. We were able to contact the general surgeon office and get clarification. All worked well, even using the correct needle to draw the blood. Thanks Sandy!!

Horrible staff. Doctors were nice enough from what I can tell, but the nurse I encountered, Sonia, was despicable. Heard her being very callous with other patients, and did not take my covid concerns seriously. Spoke to me in a patronizing way and basically shamed me. Had better treatment in barracks. Front desk staff never answers the phone either.

Apparently they like to be aggressive on the phone. I recently injured my right leg badly. Since I’m going through WB for my MRI, took a bit to get in. My doc said do not go to PT till we know what we are dealing with. My PCM is not who put in the referral. I’ve been called now 3 times to make an appointment. I have said I will CALL them when and if my PCM says to go. Immediately the lady threatened to cancel my referral. All because I said I can’t do ANYTHING till I get a go from my PCM. Harasses me and then accuses me of getting aggressive. Stay away from ANY medical place that refuses to listen. If they can be like this in the phone, it’s not gonna be better in person. Period. 100% do not recommend.

It is absolutely unacceptable for patients to be called 30 minutes past their appointment times. Front desk are unengaged after patient checks in. Nurses aren't concerned either. Worst clinic my family has ever been seen by. No more. Time for a change of clinics.

Staff is super friendly and you get seen super fast, I am rating this place a 1 star because I have a history with mastitis that requires me to get checked every so often especially when it flares. Everytime I need to get seen at my breast clinic they either dont send my referral or get me an authorization to be seen. This last time I had an appt for a referal/authorization and they had guaranteed I would have that by the time if my appt at the other clinic. Only to find out by tricare nothing had been submitted. I have felt nothing but me begging from my part for them to get it done, I give up!

This clinic is just awesome, new, clean and fast service. The best part of this clinic are the people, esp Dr. Perez, nurse Cathy, and kasandra, pharmacy people are great too. They were first at the rio bravo location, i followed them at the new location, although its far from where i live, because i feel like my family’s medical needs are taken care of very well. Now i moved out of state and still can’t find a clinic and people as good as desert sage! Very professional and friendly people.

Same day appointments and the pharmacy takes maybe 5 minutes. Best thing to happen to the west side. Mendoza clinic had me waiting over an hour for a prescription. And I like the staff.

I'm new to this clinic, and every time I call to make an appointment, the answer is always the same. "We don't have any appointments, go to urgent care or ER if you need immediate care." I'm beginning to regret switching to this clinic. Mendoza always got me in on the same day.
