Desert Hand and Physical Therapy

I have seen a lot of success in a very short amount of time at the East Mesa location! An orthopedic surgeon had me in tears saying nothing could be done for my hands (ulnar deviation from RA) and since I’m still fairly young, this was devastating. Yet this team has not only given me hope, they have already helped my hands perform and look more normal! I have attached pictures to show how just 3 weeks has made such a difference! I’m actually excited for continuing my PT and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Everyone was friendly and efficient. After testing was complete, my starting condition and goals were discussed and a treatment plan was outlined. I was given a limited set of exercises to complete at home and they were explained. Treatment was completed for the day and I was scheduled for my next 2 weeks of appointments. I had 2 appointments a week, and I have my right hand back! It’s a big deal when you’re right handed and it’s been a year with limited use. These guys are good at what they do, and helped me work my way back. 10 out of 10 - absolutely recommend the Mesa office! THANY YOU!!

This place is awesome all of the staff are very kind and knowledgeable about your situation I have had sooo much progress for wrist drop in such a very short time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone struggling with hand and wrist problems as I am. They are awesome with my 3 year old as well she loves coming with me to therapy. ❤️Thankyou so much the lady Brittany is the BEST😁 ❤️

I was in physical therapy for a little over a year 2 to 3 times per week, so I can say I really got to know the staff personally. Carlos is just a caring, informative and funny guy, Brittany she's the same caring and informative and too funny! Kayla so very kind and extremely helpful with requests, needing information or helping by assisting patients. They all have nothing but love in their hearts and wanting to see us the patients become whole again!! There's no doubt I will be back there for more physical therapy for my other hand after surgery some time next year and if you can choose where you can go for physical therapy for your hand, arm or shoulder this is the place to go!! Miss them all already!!

Very thorough and courteous. Knowledgeable in their treatment. Gave me lots of different mobility things to do even at home. Helped me regain a lot of strength back in my hands. The interns were great in following what the doctors wanted me to accomplish each day. I would definitely be willing to use them again.

Brittany, Carlos and everyone at Desert Hand Therapy are wonderful. When I first got there, I wasn't sure if I would ever regain normal use of my right arm after breaking it and having surgery on it. I have worked hard to get back to as normal as I can get and everyone there showed great patience and helped me to get back to 90% use. They encouraged me to work hard and were thrilled when I reached every milestone. Without everyone there, I don't think I could have gotten to the place I am right now. Thank you all for being so kind and helping me to achieve my goal. I definitely would recommend Desert Hand Therapy to anyone who needs physical therapy. They are the best!!!!!

I’ve always been hesitant about PT because in the past have not had good experiences. However, I was sent to this location by my surgeon and I’ve only been to a couple of sessions and the treatment I have received so far surpasses any I’ve had in the past! From check in until I leave, the entire team is kind, compassionate, and overall has an amazing environment! My therapist also listens to me and respects my pain (im having a really hard time post-op) but I can feel a difference after. I definitely recommend this location to anyone seeking therapy treatment!

Love this place, love the people, my first therapist (Britney) was very professional with her evaluations, and treatments on my finger, lots of students there to help the therapist and us patients, shout out to Amanda, Neely, Kala, and two others who names I have forgotten, but both of them are very tall. Then there is Carlos, what can I say about Carlos….he’s very professional, and people friendly! He tried hard to get me to actually bend my finger so I could….”I dunno do nothing with it?” lol 😂 I always looked forward to my treatments because the bottom line is that I wanted the same goal that Desert Hand was helping me to obtain, I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs hand, arm, and shoulder therapy!….😉
