Desert Hand and Physical Therapy

The staff at Desert Hand And Physical Therapy were fantastic. Made you feel very welcome and you actually became part of their family. They helped me through my physical therapy from my fractured wrist. I wouldn’t be able to use my hand like I am now if it wasn’t for them. They were great. I have complete use of my hand.

I had a very positive experience at Desert Hand and Physical Therapy after hurting my thumb (dominant hand) in a fall on a rocky hiking trail. The therapists at Desert Hand created a splint for my thumb (that I had to wear for 8 weeks) and then gave excellent physical therapy for a number of weeks after the splint came off. I now have full use of my thumb and hand. I’m so pleased with the results! I have to add that it is also a very fun place to hang out while receiving your therapy. Everyone is kind, friendly, and much laughter and banter is always going on.

The Team at Desert Hand and Physical Therapy is amazing. I felt as if my recovery was as important to the staff at Desert Hand as it was to me.They took special effort to create a personalized therapy that would help me to return to all the activities important to me. And they made it fun! I can't offer a higher recommendation!

I haven’t been there for months but they keep sending surveys. Very annoying. The place was dirty, very dirty. I question whether they ever cleaned the exercise equipment. Everyone jumbled in a room together. They give you the tools to work with then you’re on your own.They talk to each other but not much interaction with patients. A therapist does some hands on stretching . All of different skills. One week is a good workout the next week is worthless. I quit. I could do the exercises at home. So I did. I quit going and would not go back to the filthy place.

Like Jennifer said, not only are they a therapist. They also are there for a vent and engaged like free counseling, sometimes that's all we need just to be heard. I felt very validated that day. In many ways. Thank you so much Jennifer, and thank you.Modern therapy

The Staff have been so helpful in seeing to my recovery of the hand and arm. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. Both are important to getting back to normal activities.
