Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Office looked clean and had comfortable chairs. Dr. Hitender was very personable and knowledgeable. He explained things as he went along and answered any questions I might have. He was able to put me at ease and give me hope in improving my condition (knees). I'm actually looking forward to my appointments and a positive outcome.

I went in for back pain and didn't know they specialized in scoliosis. I was very happy because my scoliosis causes all my back pain. They took really good care of me and worked with my orthopedic doctor. They got me a scoliosis brace and did schroth scoliosis with Dr. Mansi. My pain is gone and my scoliosis curves according to my orthopedic are down from 52 degrees to 38. Very grateful

The whole staff at DPMR are always attentive, thorough and fun to visit. Dr. Hitender is especially takes the time to listen to what your concerns are and then they come up with a plan.

If you have scoliosis, look no further. This is the only PT/Chiro clinic in Denver with a firm grasp on scoliosis treatment. After visiting two other clinics, this is the only place where I received effective care to reduce the degree of my curves. All the staff are incredibly friendly, and Dr. Mansi, in particular, has always gone the extra mile during our Schroth sessions. She is kind, patient, and always willing to answer my many questions. Dr. Mansi does an excellent job of challenging me, ensuring I get the most out of our sessions. Highly recommended!

I hate having to leave bad reviews and while everyone at this place treated me nicely and respectfully, as someone with back problems I feel that what this place is doing is wrong and I need to share my experience. I realize am very opinionated on this so I will start by just list some facts about this place. Strangely, Denver Physical Medicine and Rehab and Denver South Chiropractic and Rehab seem to be two different establishments but are run out of the same location. Their websites are almost identical but a key difference is that Denver Physical Medicine and Rehab does not openly advertise any association with chiropractic practices, instead just saying their team consist of a Medical Doctor but is unclear if anyone that works here actually has an MD. Neither establishment is certified in Schroth Therapy, but it is advertised and this is how I found them and why I went there in the first place. Here, I was misdiagnosed with over 20 degree scoliosis and was advised to buy a $5800 brace despite not growing anymore; after getting a second opinion from an orthopedist, I was truly diagnosed as having an 11 degree curve. The “therapy” I received was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life, consisting of about 5 minutes of a lady yelling at me while holding onto two poles, then the rest of which I was strapped into these machines, pulling on your neck, shaking your back, and other uncomfortable and strange things. I am about 6’1 and would be put in the same machine as an old lady over a foot shorter than me without having any adjustment made. In my own opinion, their practices seemed to be very imprecise and even borderline dangerous. I’m not sure how anyone has received relief at this place if everyone is just strapped into these machines. From my experience, going to medically recognized physical therapists and other professionals has never been perfect, but nothing about this place had any sense of legitimacy. The “award” they claim to have received naming them the best physical therapist in Denver is just from some website and is based on their reviews; that being said, they are rated very highly as you can see for yourself. I don’t trust chiropractors in the first place and their practices only reinforced my belief, but by all means, go and check this place out for yourself and if it works for you, that is great. I just think everyone should be aware that this place is run by chiropractors and has some sketchy practices. I hope everyone looking for support and going to this place can get the help they need.

Their website claims dry needling is "modern" and was "invented" in the 1980s. The total exploitation and appropriation of acupuncture is amazing. They reduce one of the most diverse scientific approaches to medicine to a comment about chi and completely mischaracterize the field. I would never trust a place that is misinforming their prospective clients to this degree.

I had been having chronic, debilitating pelvic cramping for about two months when I got a physician's recommendation to see a medical massage therapist because my entire abdominal wall was gridlocked and everything around it was starting to clench, too. Not to be dramatic, but the staff massage therapist, Luis, is a miracle worker. After months of agony and popping over-the-counter painkillers around the clock, 90% of the pain was gone in one appointment, and the remaining 10% in the second. I haven't taken a single painkiller since that 90% appointment, and I now know exactly what will help when the issue starts coming back. I hope clinic management sees this review and does everything possible to keep Luis around. He's passionate about what he does, he's quite knowledgeable in his field, he's a consummate professional, and he puts people at ease with his presence. Despite the fact that he typically works with cases drastically different to mine, he asked some questions and then jumped in to try to help. I felt heard and respected, which has not always been the case with my ongoing chronic health issues. I cannot speak to the work of the other clinical staff because I have not worked with them personally, but I can say that the front desk staff is always very thoughtful, patient, and polite, even when they're busy or in a high-pressure situation. Overall extremely positive experience. I'm a repeat customer.
