I am a physician so I have had a lot of contact with physical therapists. I found Travis/Defiance PT when I was looking for a therapist who worked with athletic injuries and whose prices were not outrageous (like the local hospitals). I am super happy I found him. The online appointment process was efficient. He made some wise choices on how to treat my knee pain and the pain resolved after two visits with him. He did not try to convince me to do more visits, which was refreshing. I appreciated the app he shared for guiding me through home exercises. He was good on follow up. I will be back when I have another issue requiring physical therapy!

Travis has been an incredibly helpful PT and I have seen him for multiple issues: shoulder pain from a labrum tear and knee pain from a torn meniscus. He will show you some great new exercises and teach you the perfect form as well. For any follow up appointments, he will show you more exercises and/or stretches for consistent improvement and continued progression. Overall I would highly recommend him for any PT needs!

I am 58 and a professional golfer and I came to Travis because I hurt my right shoulder and had considerable pain daily and it was affecting my sleep and of course my golf game. Travis worked with me and got me on a great program and now not only is my shoulder better but so is my neck which I had chronic pain for years!!! Another added bonus was Travis also helped my Knee that had been chronic and overlooked by others and it feels great! He is so talented and energetic I just love working with him!!

If you are new to PT, give it a go, and commit to doing the exercises! Travis will be a great guide - he will listen and help you understand what you need to focus on and why, celebrate your accomplishments, and make the journey fun. I started PT with Travis 7 weeks ago for some pretty bad back & SI joint pain, and graduated today! I was in a very bad way (couldn't lie flat on my back and had pain standing, sitting, walking, and putting on pants). I had never done PT, and was afraid PT would be painful and that it would take forever to heal. Boy was I wrong. The exercises Travis guided me through were not painful and were very manageable (from an exertion and time commitment standpoint). I have come to really enjoy my daily routine! I started noticing serious progress the first week. After 4 weeks I was able to sleep on my back again for the first time in over a year. By 7 weeks, I no longer feel restricted in my daily life. I never thought I would be throwing myself a party because I am capable of putting on pants, but here I am.

Travis was great! I was in considerable pain, and he saw me the day after I called. His expertise and guidance got me on the way to healing and regaining strength right away. Next time I'm injured, I'll go straight to him. Also appreciated the ability to self pay without a referral, and early morning appointments so I didn't have to miss work.

I worked with Travis for 4 sessions over a span of four weeks. We targeted both an ankle and shoulder problem. He didn’t waste one second during our sessions and gave me an extensive routine to follow at home. Thanks to his expertise, I went from barely being able to walk around the block with a lot of discomfort in my ankle to getting back into being able to do some moderate cardio with a jump rope and having no discomfort ! I would highly recommend that you get in to see Travis for an evaluation if you are in need of an excellent PT!

Travis is awesome! I injured my knee at work and was unable to return until I was functional again. To make matters worse, I was suppose to be training for an event and only had about 6 weeks to get healthy and be in shape to perform. Travis didn’t wanted anytime I’m getting my healthy and had plenty of science based advice to assist me with my recovery and my training. Not only did he help get me back to work, but he helped me prep for my event so I was confident in my performance. With his background as an athlete, it was obvious that he understood how an athlete trains and was able to set me up so I wouldn’t injure myself again. The facility was nice to use in between PT sessions and provided excellent resources during my recovery. I highly recommend Travis for anyone with a sports related injury or lookin got return to a sport

Travis is a specialist with Parkinson's, which means he excels in improving movement, motion, balance, any other hindrances to being as active as you would like to be. His remarkable positive attitude is contagious and not only makes PT fun, but is a motivator to accomplish more than appears possible through PT. I can't recommend Travis and his skill-set enough. He's the best and most enthusiastic all around physical therapist I have encountered to date.
