Decatur Morgan Hospital

Went to have my son here just a few days ago, I was impressed. The nurses treated me with so much respect, I loved them all! Mrs. Karen helped me deliver and helped with aftercare and she was such a delight. All of them were amazing! The ladies took such great care of my son in the nursery as well.. thank you ladies!

I had an out- pt procedure and the whole experience could not hav been any better. All the nurses and staff were VERY polite and friendly and accommodating. I live in Florence, but the drive was well worth it.

I was very pleased with our experience at the satellite facility on Beltline. The registration process was quick and staff very accommodating. There was no wait time for the CT scan. The radiology technician Lee Creel was professional and took such good care of my mother who has dementia.

I just delivered my son at Decatur Morgan Hospital on Sunday, April 28 and have only positive things to share!! The on call OB Dr Whiddon delivered and the amazing nurses - Tracie, Sophie, Kimberly, and SO many others from different shifts - truly made our stay amazing! From the quality care from staff, to complimentary lunch the hospital provided (yummy steak and sides!), we truly cannot imagine having a better experience anywhere else. I am not sure we would’ve gotten better treatment at any local hospital in all North Alabama! Women and Children’s doesn’t compare. We truly enjoyed our time with our little one before heading back to reality and cannot thank DMH enough for such a wonderful experience!

From the time we checked in with the receptionist in the ED to when my CNA transported me to my vehicle, everyone was polite, helpful, and stepped up to assist when others couldn’t. I saw true teamwork. It definitely makes for an easier stay when hospitals aren’t often visited by choice. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience.

The staff is what made my first visit to Decatur Morgan Hospital so wonderful. Rhett, RN and Dr McFarland deserve accolades. Many other staff members were so pleasant and took great care of me. I did not have one single person attend to me whom was not very kind and professional. This all is amazing to me as I do have stays at other hospitals to compare this one to. I wish I could remember everyone's name who attended to me because accolades should be given to them as well. Good job everyone!

I saw my primary care doctor who ordered lab work/ the staff out front were polite and very professional - a lady brought some pizzas to the staff because of how awesome they treated her yesterday/ this was a very touching moment! The lady who registered me was kind and friendly and made me feel comfortable. The gentleman (Calvin) who drew my blood continues to amaze me of his skill- I did not feel the stick or when he drew enough blood for 2 tubes. He deserves recognition!!

Dr Stephanie Patrick’s receptionist, Tory, scheduled my appt. for thyroid evaluation. The doctor and her team provided caring and excellent service. Dr Patrick is very personable. I love how she put things in layman’s terms so, I could better understand. Also, she & her nurse, Bree, made me feel at ease. So grateful we have an Endocrinologist located in our town. Thank you!
