I have been meaning to write this review for such a long time. Dr. Allea truly changed my life in so many ways; physically, emotionally, and mentally. I came to her practice feeling scared from previous opinions, terrible about myself physically, SO brushed aside, and just straight up not taken seriously by other health "professionals." After I gave birth, I was told I needed to start looking into options for surgery, and also that I might suffer from my issues permanently AND was even advised at one point to learn to live with them/ignore them. Physical therapy, especially this wonderful niche for pelvic floor therapy, needs to be pushed for and talked about!! It's so incredibly important for pregnancy and postpartum (amongst so many other valid and important reasons to be there). Dr. Allea has made me feel so welcomed, seen, heard, and SUPPORTED! She came up with a clear and manageable treatment plan, and I've already made huge strides in my healing journey, which isn't over! I'd also like to mention how knowledgeable and passionate she is and her openness to sharing that knowledge. I leave my appointments with her feeling inspired, incredibly motivated, and mentally clear. Truly truly life changing.

After giving birth, my pelvic floor was wrecked. I was instructed to do hundreds of kegels to help everything get back to normal. After over 5 months of doing this, nothing felt better. My midwife recommended seeing a pelvic floor PT and I'm so lucky that my friend referred me to Dr. Allea. Within a couple sessions, she thoroughly explained how my pelvic floor worked and why kegels weren't improving things in any way. She gave me exercises and stretches to do and I noticed an immediate change (when I actually did the stretches regularly as recommended). Dr. Allea is so sweet and you can tell she truly loves what she does (and is so good at it). 100000% recommend. Thank you!!!

Using my husbands account - I had recurring UTIs and pelvic floor issues from childbirth, menopause, and a lifetime of jogging. Allea has helped me tremendously deal with the these painful issues along with the surrounding muscle areas that get irritated as well. Allea is very knowledgeable in this speciality, as well as the body as a whole and it's mechanics. Her various treatment techniques and exercises have helped me immensely and I strongly recommend her. Allea has superior bedside manner and is so professional that it's never awkward or uncomfortable. She is open to discussions and ideas and working together. Strongly recommend Allea !!!

Love Daybreak Physical Therapy! Allea is just amazing!! She listened to my concerns and addressed everything so thoroughly. She really takes her time going over and explaining her findings. Allea uses a 3D model of the pelvic floor muscles which I found so useful in understanding my body’s muscles and their function. Cannot wait to visit her again!

Allea is an angel from heaven! I had a quick onset of intense tailbone/pelvic pain and was ready to go to the ER. Allea got me in the next day and after one treatment I felt so much better, I was amazed! She also made me feel completely comfortable and she is so knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed seeing her every week and am so grateful to be able to return to my regular, physically active life without pain and more educated on my body and how it works!

It's not an exaggeration to say that Allea changed my life. I was dealing with debilitating pelvic pain that was dismissed by multiple doctors, and was frustrated, confused, and depressed. At my first appointment, Allea pinpointed exactly what was wrong and gave me hope that I could heal. She is not only a skilled physical therapist, but is also an incredibly kind, supportive, and encouraging person. Pelvic PT can be intimidating to jump into, but Allea puts you at ease and you leave feeling respected, seen, understood, and and full of hope!

I did a telehealth session with Allea to go over some very basic information about the pelvic floor, core & it’s relation to pregnancy. She gave me a wealth of knowledge without it being overwhelming! She gave me great starting points and exactly what to do moving forward (unfortunately I don’t live in her area). She is so friendly, supportive & encouraging as well!

I can't imagine there is a better pelvic floor physical therapist than Dr. Allea. I've seen her for many sessions (as my debilitating chronic pelvic pain, that other doctors couldn't help with, has progressively improved to now a minor nuisance by following her treatment and exercise regiment). She is a true expert in her field, plus can offer good advice on all sorts of other wellness issues as a sort of fringe benefit of her treatments. She is fully engaged and positive at every session, no matter how challenging a day she may be having. If you have any health issue in your abdominal or pelvic region, I'm sure a consult with Dr. Allea would benefit you.
