Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Ottauquechee Health Center

I have been a patient for years and I consistently have challenges refilling medications. I call and use the online portal ahead of time to request it to be filled and each time something goes wrong. This leaves me frustrated time after time calling 5-6 times over each medication and having to have endless patience to get a simple task completed. I have been left without medication so many times. I am often told that they are not able to call me back to confirm that the proscription has been processed and left in the dark. This has been enough for me to change providers. I don't recommend this office for care.

I have been a patient for MANY years and I still have problems with getting my medicine refilled. I start calling about a week before they're due but the office still doesn't get the refills called in. I am many times without my medicine that I have been on for years and years. I hope that they can get this undercontrol.

Total nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and go someplace else. I live 4 minutes up the road and now I'm getting a new doctor that's 32 minutes away because at Ottaqueechee, you almost never get through to anyone, you sometimes wait 45 minutes to an hour past your appointment time, trying to get a referral to the Physical Therapy office downstairs takes over a month (and jumping through hoops and chasing people down to get them to do their jobs and trying to navigate through so much miscommunication and errors,) they constantly drop the ball and their communication is atrocious. When you call for test results and tell the nurse you're worried that the staff will drop the ball, (like they always do,) they will ASSURE you that your results will be ready and someone will help you, when you call back tomorrow and the person that you're talking to now isn't working...so when you do that, they tell you someone will call you back...half the day goes by and no one calls, so you call back and get told that someone will call you back again...and then they close without ever having called you back. I'm so glad I am getting a new provider. This place is an absolute dumpster fire, total hit or miss. Sometimes you get good bedside manner but it's not worth the rest of the unprofessionalism, disregard, disrespect and chaos.

Great place to get healthcare. Physical therapy and pediatrics are 👍🏽
