Danville Post-Acute Rehab

My parents have spent time both spent time at Skilled Nursing facilities in the last few years. This has been our best experience ever. Danville Post Acute is extremely well run. Every member of the staff is not only friendly and efficient, but they work in perfectly timed coordination. My father is 95 and isn't really able to request help, but here he never has to. They anticipate all of his needs. The whole place has a very calm and happy atmosphere, without the emergencies seen regularly at other facilities. I would recommend this to anyone.

Two years later, and I come back to this rehab with my mom. It was a wonderful feeling to see so many of the nurses and caregivers that I had met before. I was so relieved that there was a place open from my mom to stay and be as well taken care of as she was the last time she was at Danville Post Acute . I am so grateful for everyone that works there. They felt like an extended family and that they really cared. Thank you to all of you and God bless bless. A place can be beautiful and clean, which this one is, but the most important experience is about the people inside that care for our loved ones. My mom stayed at Danville Post Acute rehab for 28 days and it was comforting to know that she was so well taken care of. It’s also located in the beautiful town of Danville right next to the approximately 350 year old historic sycamore tree. With lots of gratitude I post this review.

This is mom’s 2nd time here and I was so happy they had a bed available this time! Our experience the 1st time was very good and a week in I can tell you she’s getting the same excellent treatment she received before. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the hard work these wonderful caretakers and PT professionals demonstrate.

This Danville Post Acute Rehab Facilities have super friendly staffs. My mom the patient even let us know how good they are to her. I was amazed to the staff every time we visit my mother they alway welcome us with their energetic attitude and friendly smiles make us feel comfortable that my mom is in the good place that we can trust which is very important to the family. This place treats my grandmother very well, I greatly appreciate all the nurses for taking care of everyone and being so kind. Everyone there is patient, gentle, and genuine. This is job is not easy so I feel thankful to have people help support those in need. Not all hero’s wear capes, they often wear scrubs.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the level of care at Danville Post-Acute Rehab. Throughout my husband’s stay, everyone and everything exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, they are very well staffed with caring, competent and always accessible people at all levels, from Administration to Maintenance and everyone in between. Most particularly, the CNAs and Nurses are attentive and positive, despite a difficult job. The Physical and Occupational Therapists are also excellent. The facility is clean, the food is good and the overall vibe is friendly and welcoming. I was there every day of my husband’s 18 day stay and the quality was consistent. I must make special mention of Director, Leon and Assistant Nursing Director, Pia. They went to bat for me at discharge, facilitating an additional two-night stay at Danville Post-Acute when the Medical Supply Company dropped the ball on delivery of a hospital bed to the Board and Care where we were moving. Discharge without that bed was simply not an option. I am in their debt for their kindness and firm intervention with the supply company on our behalf. What could have been a nightmare, they turned into a positive, even sending Ana, one of their staff, to ride with my husband in the transport and ensure his safe transfer to the board and care. Way above and beyond! I am very grateful to everyone at Danville Post-Acute Rehab and recommend them without reservation. Five stars are not enough.

So far an excellent stay 😊 Pia, Leon, Ernie admitted my mom and were friendly and professional. Nursing staff (Icey, Ana) very helpful and caring. Food is delicious per my mom 👍 👩🏼‍🦽Pt Gauri and Speech therapist began working with her and have been clear on explaining plan. I appreciate their listening to my mom and answering her questions. First weekend and still going great !!! Pia and team is constantly concerned with my mom's health and comfort. Irina is fabulous and clarified my mom's dosages so she can communicate to nurses any confusions. Still so happy with the patient care and compassion here at Danville rehab . The team has been so understanding with my mom's situation. She's had moments where obviously wanted to go home but the team has comforted her and listened her doing what they can to ensure she stays to get the care and strength to live a healthier happier life after her stay. They haven't given up on her in the the least bit. Losing track on the nurses names but all have been great. If you do have to get care for your parent or loved one just be sure to visit them regularly do the things you can to make their stay comfortable. Bring them things for comfort and normalcy. A pillow, manicure set, or regular make-up can make a huge difference . Of course it will be frustrating for them and anything can trigger them to feel like it's not a good situation. Personally I've been there every day since day 1 from 9ish am to 9ish pm and have only observed good things with entire staff and patients. Activities director Stephanie is very active and does a great job getting patients to socialize and do things to keep the body and mind active. Another great day although my mom had a fall, the response was fast and the whole team came to her aid. One of the male staff members (not a nurse or admin) was super quick and clear at calling for help. I a blink of an eye everyone was there. After the fall staff kept checking on her. Leon , Toni, Mirrian and Anna kept her smiling and have been such a blessing. 9/13 and my mom is officially out from the rehab center and doing great at home thanks to the wonderful team. Our family is all so thankful for the help and therapy received at Danville post acute rehab. Nothing but a positive experience.
