I have had the best experience here at DANCEPREHAB with Dr. Claire. She helped me recover fast from an ankle sprain and got me back on stage in such a short amount of time. They gave me exercises I can keep using for the rest of my career, even when not injured. I am so grateful and would recommend any dancer to come here. It makes a huge difference to see physical therapists who understand dance, and I highly recommend this place to dancers in SoCal.

Dr. Claire has been amazing helping with my Heel & toe pain. My expectation coming in was to prevent injury. The prevention has been a huge victory. The capability to learn more about the body and how each muscle works has given me the ability to isolate while building strength and preventing injury. The biggest difference is the team understands the demands and movements required as a dancer. They can show what is needed to ensure the dancer understands and can create a daily cadence for warm up. Having the strength and endurance to dance freely without struggling with pain. This has been a real win and has given me the ability to grow as a dancer.

I could go on and on about Rob and the practice he built within DANCEPREHAB. I am a professional dancer and was doing a guesting in California during the summer. I began experiencing some foot pain, which worried me. Rob got me in so quickly and with his deep knowledge of not only the human anatomy but that of professional ballet dancers, I immediately felt comfortable. Secondly, he had connections within my dance world that he was willing to share with my usual physical therapists which proved to be exponentially helpful and made me feel the experience was personal and would go beyond just the couple of times that I needed to be treated with him. Finally, I appreciated that I was connected with an app that showed me my exercises and gave me my reps and sets to do each day. I CANNOT recommend this practice enough and I look forward to seeing Rob again in the future for matinence!

Dr. Rob is incredible! He is so helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me prepare for a long winter performance season, giving me tips for strengthening and mobility. I totally recommend DANCEPREHAB for anyone serious about their athletic performance, whether for dance or not.

We have seen Dr. Claire for PT and to build up strength around some tricky bone/tendon issues. She has been great - so kind and caring with a deep knowledge of both physiology and dance! It's the perfect combination for dancers!

I only worked with Rob for 6 weeks, but I noticed more improvement with my injury and my overall strength than working with other physical therapists for months and years. I thought I was done with physical therapy for good, but I’m so glad my family friend insisted I meet with Rob! He is so patient and models each session to what you need personally instead of simply handing you off to a nurse/assistant. Thank you Dance Prehab!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have come across DancePrehab and Dr. Claire. My daughter has been dedicated to ballet for a decade, but she's been struggling with pains in her lower back, legs, and ankles. Dr. Claire's unique perspective as a ballet dancer herself has allowed her not only to address these pains, but also to explain their underlying causes and provide guidance on using the correct muscles and body movements to support my daughter's dancing.

I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Rob over the last year after relocating from Seattle to Orange County. He spent the time and effort communicating with my physical therapist in Seattle to make the transition to being under his care extremely easy. We have tackled past overuse injuries in addition to injury prevention and navigating my current work load to prevent any future overuse. I have felt seen not just as a dancer but also as a human being, as DANCE|PREHAB does a phenomenal job at looking at all aspects of life when treating a dancer. Over the last year I have noticed I am much more aware with how I am approaching movement and how to incorporate the exercises we do into my daily warm up routine. I am starting to become less obsessed with the aesthetic of movement and more in tune with how it feels in my body.
