The waiting room is very nice, with lots of plants creating an inviting and relaxing feeling. Dr. Dallmeyer is very experienced and friendly. His staff was also very efficient and kind. I felt much better after my treatment, and trust I will recover with help from their office.

Weirdest experience I’ve had at a PT. They said there was a “no shorts” policy but I looked around and saw many male clients wearing shorts… then they made me wear a hospital gown over my clothes! No one introduced themselves or asked for my name. I wasn’t listened to, and was given electro therapy without warning. No professionality, would not recommend.

Very unprofessional lady at front desk Margarita enough said. She is going to be the downfall of this place. She seems to think she knows more than the doctor himself, who I later found out is his wife. She also thought I didn't speak spanish and I heard her speak bad about people and myself also. She was also speaking badly of the doctor and very rude to the doctor himself Mr. DALLMEYER. She should not be working there!

After expressing my concern over the treatment I was receiving for my back, I was snapped at with a raised voice " you dont think I know what I'm doing?" The entire facility stopped and started at us. Not professional in my opinion.

Dave is THE BEST! I hurt my back badly at work - so badly that I couldn't walk or even stand up straight. The workers comp doctor reviewed my symptoms, set me up with the meds I would need to deal with the pain and to ease the back spasms and then made a call to Dallmeyer Physical Therapy to see if Dave could see me. I'd never even heard of this gentleman or his practice before, but he told them to send me right over. I couldn't even get out of my car on my own, so I called from my cell and Dave came out to my car to help me in. I don't remember how I got inside, but after Dave got done working his magic, I was able to rise and walk with the assistance of a walker. That might not sound like a big deal to a lot of people, but it was a HUGE improvement from where I had been. I've been back to see him several times since then, and have now discarded both the walker and cane. Thanks to Dave and his staff, I'm on the road to a rapid and complete recovery. If you live in or near Santa Barbara, THIS is the place to go when you need physical therapy. I've read the reviews from people that were unhappy with the office staff on the phone. We all know that good help is hard to find, but not as hard to find as someone that can help when you're in agony like I was. DAVE helped me. He saw me right away without an appointment, took the pain away and helped me to feel like a human being again. Thank You, Dr Dave Dallmeyer. You helped me when I was in a great deal of pain and I am VERY grateful!!! Sincerely, Thorin Scott

They are incredibly hard to get ahold of on the telephone. I would recommend going in person to their office to follow up on anything. But once you are scheduled, they take great care of their patients, and Dr. Dallmeyer has a lot of experience and a good sense of humor.

I'm 6.5 months pregnant and started having dehibilitating back and hip pain that was making it almost impossible to walk, sleep or sit. A friend recommended Dallmeyer as he had helped her with a similar issue. No other doctors would see me and said nothing could be done to help. I called his clinic and they got me in within 30 minutes. With one session and a nap after, I'm able to walk again with almost no pain. Thank you to the wonderful staff and doctor for empathizing with my situation and truly helping me when no one else would!

I made an appointment at this place a week in advance. My appointment was scheduled for a Tuesday at 11:30. When I made the appointment I asked about how long would it be since I have to arrange the appointment time to coincide with my lunch hour and for someone to cover me if it goes over. They said since it would be my first appointment it would be about an hour and a half since I would have to fill out paperwork. I asked would it last approximately from 11:30 to 1:00, and the lady I was speaking with told me yes. After waiting a week, on the Tuesday of my appointment I I called at 11:08 to confirm that I would be there at my scheduled time of 11:30 ( it's down the street from my work). The lady I spoke with told me I needed to get there at 11:00 in order to fill out paperwork. I told her it was already after 11, but I was on my way. She said I needed to reschedule then. I told her that I wasn't told that I need to be there at 11:00 when I made the appointment. Then she told me if I came at 11:30 there wouldn't be a physical therapist there anyway. That really confused me since that was the time they made my appointment for. I told her I waited all week for this appointment and I didn't miss it yet and I would be there at my scheduled time, so I didn't understand why I was being told I had to reschedule. I also asked her would that have been the case if I didn't call first to confirm, but rather just showed up at my appointment time. She said I would have been put down as a no show for not being there at 11:00 and would have had to reschedule anyway. I tried to tell her that it wasn't a fair situation since I was never told that I had to be there at 11:00, and I made the appointment from 11:30 to 1:00 and that it already included the time it would have taken to fill out the paperwork. If I would have known I was supposed to be there 30 minutes before my appointment was sheduled I would not have made the appointment for that time since due to my line of work its really difficult to take my lunch break that early. I also tried to tell her I had to make prior arrangements for that time and how it was messed up for her to cancel my appointment right then when I called her after I waited a whole week while experiencing alot of back pain. She then said she could put me in at an available time later in the day, but I told her I didn't schedule for that time off at work so I couldnt make it. By now I was getting a little frustrated about how unfair this situation was, but everytime I tried telling my side she just kept brushing me off saying there was nothing she could do about it and we were getting nowhere and our convirstaion was going in circles. Then I asked to speak with someone else who may be able to help me with this situation (since I figured this was a misunderstanding and she already made up her mind not to hear me), but that didn't work either since she said she was the only one available to speak with. I ended up calling a different place altogether and getting an appointment in a little less than a week, and they emailed me all the papers I needed so I could fill them out and bring them with me to my appointment. TLDR: I do not recommend this place due to bad customer service and bad business practice of being inconsiderent of their clients time, canceling individuals appointments at last minute when people have to work and make prior arrangements, and not willing to resolve issue on phone by being stubborn and not listening.
