We were referred to Cynthia from our lactation specialist for a tongue and lip tie. 5 stars doesn’t do Cynthia justice, she quite literally has “magic hands” Our baby boy loved seeing her and she is so sweet with him. She really worked on his whole body releasing a lot of tension and watched me breast feed and helped him latch and suction much better. He latches with little to no effort now and I couldn’t be happier. We would recommend Cynthia to anyone and so blessed to have her work on our sweet Angel boy. Thank you so much Cynthia! -The Lunts

I would love to give more than 5 stars for her! My son had lip and tongue tie, lots of tension on his body, unable to poop by himself. Since our first visit with Cynthia he started to poop, his double chin start to desapear, he start to move his neck to both sides… also he loves her. The way that she treats our baby, and us, is amazing, she has such a happy energy that makes my baby SUPER enjoy his session. He leaves the session so happy and relax. After couple sessions we had his tongue & lip tie released and he’s doing great, not traumatized or anything bad, I’m sure it’s because all the work that she did before the release. And we keep seeing her after the release, just because I feel he’s having so much improvement in each part of his body after each session. Each session is magical. I feels like every time we go there, when we leave, he’s a new baby, with much more movements, flexibility & happiness. He’s 3 months old. Also she’s helping his high palate situation! Thank you so much, we love you. Sun’s family

I wish I would have known Cynthia a month and a half ago, soon after my daughter was born. She had tongue and lip tie and her suction became weaker even before she had the frenectomy. Things didn’t improve after the frenectomy. Her suction completely went away after so I had to pump and feed her through a bottle. Livingnlike that was not sustainable but I didn’t want to give up. I tried many things and nothing was working. I was referred to Cynthia about two months after my daughter was born. By the time I went to see Cynthia I was ready to quit breastfeeding. I had lost all hope. Cynthia held my daughter and she literally melted on her arms. Cynthia did some work on her and as she was working on her, Cynthia explained to me what was happening and how the body functions. Cynthia had me nurse my baby while she kept working on her and to my surprise she started suctioning and nursing. I had tears in my eyes as I was finally able to nurse my baby. We are pleased to continue working with Cynthia while my daughter receives therapy from her. I highly recommend Cynthia. She has magical hands :) Also she’s a “one stop shop” which is so beneficial. Please don’t hesitate setting an appointment with her. She’s worth every penny. She saved my breastfeeding journey and also even if I had chosen to not breastfeed anymore, she’s helping my daughter solve issues that even her pediatrician didn’t notice. I absolutely love Cynthia.

We loved our experience with Cynthia! She was recommended to us when our 1 month old had a suspected tongue tie. I had no idea what to do or expect since this was my first baby, and Cynthia helped us figure it out and do what we needed to to help our little girl. She worked well with our team of her, our IBCLC, and pediatric dentist. They were all in contact with each other and all shared updates as needed to make sure things were taken care of. I felt so supported!! It was a lot of work doing the exercises every day, but it paid off and Cynthia was so encouraging the whole time! After the tongue tie was addressed, Cynthia kept working with us to help with shoulder tightness, avoiding flat spots on my baby’s head, and over all strength. As I said before, Cynthia is so encouraging every time you meet with her, and she helps explain everything so you know why she’s doing things, and why it’s important for you to work on them at home. She even did a couple of exercises on us so we would understand what to be looking for and how to do them correctly. If I have any more kids, I will 100% take them to visit Cynthia even if they don’t have obvious tongue tie issues. She helped us all around and most importantly helped our little girl.

I HIGHLY recommend Cynthia to everyone! Our little one was born with quite a few feeding issues relating to being tongue tied. We had been to other competent practitioners who helped, but nothing quite fixed the issue. Cynthia was our "last ditch effort" after being referred by a friend, I am so glad we began to work with her! She has so much knowledge, is very personable, and got us out of the woods with our little one. I don't know who else could have! We wish we would have known to come to her first. Don't hesitate, just book an appointment now!

I had issues with my son latching correctly. I took him to Cynthia and she worked on tight muscles in his body, focusing on his mouth and neck. Things were immediately better until my son’s 2 month vaccinations. He startled easily, fussy, and had a hard time latching again. Our next appointment couldn’t come fast enough. Once we walked in, it was like my son knew she was going to help. You could see him start to smile and coo at Cynthia and relax, which hadn’t happened for a week after his shots. At the end of the appointment I was able to breastfeed without pain! I cannot recommend Cynthia Peterson enough!! She is so calming, positive, and very knowledgeable!

It takes a village to raise a child, and Cynthia has been a key member of our village. I have two children, both born with oral restrictions that made nursing challenging. We learned the hard way with our oldest that it's not enough just to have a tongue tie released. She was able to finally get the oral function needed to nurse after we worked with Cynthia to help address the muscle tension in her mouth. Cynthia has been a key part of success for both of our children as they have learned to nurse. Cynthia is professional, warm and knowledgable. I have been impressed not only with her approach to taking care of my children, but also her dedication to continuing education.

Cynthia was absolutely amazing with my baby! His mouth was so tight and just after one session he has been sleeping with his mouth closed and spilling a lot less milk when he eats! She made sure I was comfortable doing the exercises at home and ensured that I had what I needed for success! I would highly recommend her!
