Admitted my mother in law today via the ER. I don't tell staff that I'm a retired RN having worked at several hospitals in the area. Out of habit I watch that proper protocol is practiced and mentally gauge the skill level of those performing procedures. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! Prompt, Professional and Courteous. Very respectful to my deaf mother in law on 3rd floor Only suggestion... remind staff its important to introduce themselves when entering a room and briefly state purpose. Her doctor just called us at home for an update. Who does that? CRMC.... that's who!

This is the 3rd time in 2 years my husband has reported to Central Registration on time with all his information and been turned away to reschedule. This time when we arrived the receptionist told us the doctor hadn't sent his referral and they were trying to get it(after we were already signed in and waiting) but if they didn't hear anything they would have to re-schedule his test, AGAIN! We waited for over 2 hours and when he went back to the receptionist to ask about the referral she informed him they couldn't get in touch with his regular doctor and allowed how it was his regular doctors fault for not sending the referral. We spoke to someone from tgis office NUMEROUS TIMES leading up to the appointment and not one of them montioned a referral to either of us. Cullman used to be a good hospital but as of the last few years I'd be afraid to let them care for my dog.

I haven't always been the person who writes reviews, actually this is my first. With that,I feel like I must. Last night I decided to go to the ER because my abdominal pain was so bad I didn't know what was wrong. I just wanted to say that was the nicest most polite staff I had ever seen there. I did have to wait a little bit but it was because of how thorough they were. I would go back there in a heartbeat. You're going to have to wait wherever you go unless the staff doesn't care about you and your well-being. I would like to say thank you to all of you.

I am aware that going to the ER that we were going to have a wait time but why spend tons of money on ER waiting room renovations so patients can be comfortable, they have cushioned seating and can lay down because remember they are here because they do not feel good only to be brought back in the ER HALL to sit with other patients in hard uncomfortable chairs. Looking at empty treatment rooms with lights off and beds made. Make it make sense. This is just common sense to leave patients where they are the most comfortable until they can be treated. Makes you feel like patient care is the last things on their minds. They need to remember if there are no patients there are no jobs for them. What’s the purpose of sitting in the hall like 20 steps away from the actual waiting room? And I’m sure I will get some packaged response but I don’t think there is any response that would make any sense OMG now the doctor is diagnosing in the dang hall, separate patient less than 2 feet away from me! What about patient confidentiality, stating her name, asking all her symptoms, medical history. What the heck is this!.

Do not go there if you do not have insurance. They already don't do everything to try and help you if you have insurance and if you don't have insurance you get absolutely bare minimum. after my brother had a motorcycle wreck they made him leave the next morning. He had a collapsed lung, broken collar bone and 2 fractured ribs and his leg that had screws from previous break had road rash they didn't even bother cleaning. They most they did was tape a tube in his lung for a day. he had to go uab to actually get help. I had my baby there and after going through an emergency c section my blood pressure was high and they ASKED ME why it was high.... aren't you supposed to tell me why.

They completely dismiss you. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and in severe pain which I have a chronic pain condition anyways. I have been dealing with so much pain my belly started hurting extremely bad. they wouldn't even check the pregnancy. Treated me like a Crack head. Discharged me with out discussing anything. I was told to go to er with pains like this and they mistreat me. I really feel like there is no hope left for me. This is not the first time this has happened especially in cullman. My primary ditched me my pain doctor ditched me. I've never felt like killing myself as much as I do right now. People gasp at the suicide rate but no one listens or truly cares.

I was there last night, November 3rd 2024, and everyone was so nice and caring. Especially my nurse, matthew Lee. There have been times over the last 22 years. Then I have been there and a lot of times people didn't act like they cared, but more or less like they were ready to go home but not last night. Everyone was very charismatic and helped me in every way they could. Matthew needs a raise for putting a smile on my face, even when I felt the worst I have ever felt. I don't know if it was just that shift, but definitely a better experience than i've had in the past. So proud of all the staff. I'm sure what they have to go through every shift isnt easy.

I did not appreciate the service at the outpatient lab I have never had a bad experience in this hospital until now. They stuck my mom 4 times and all they could say is they can't find the vain. The one lab worker seemed mad about having to do her job and had the worst attitude about it I think her name was Amena who called other nurses to get it while she sat on her desk on her phone whining to go home. I mean if she has had a bad day or not feeling good go home don't put patients through the pain. Thanks to this woman my mom has 4 big bruises for no reason.
