Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

My mom was recently at Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation and we had a wonderful experience. I can't enough positive things about the staff - from the minute she was admitted until we left - they were all on the ball. Everyone (and I mean everyone) is very, very friendly and they went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. For a small town, Cuero N&R is a wonderful place for your loved ones with special needs.

My dad was in there for 2 weeks for rehab. The physical therapist was fantastic and showed he really cared. The CNA’s were often nowhere to be found and when you did see them, they were on their phones. We picked my dad up on Saturday and had to take him to ER on Sunday. Every time we walked in, which was everyday, his roommate smelled like urine and poop. Every time. It would never be addressed until I said something to the nurse up front. My dad was left unclean often and never had water at his disposal. He has an ostomy bag so it’s mandatory he stays clean. He also had a foley bag that was always full. After 2 weeks we took him out and although he was sent for recovery and physical therapy, he came out worse than when we had taken him to the ER in Cuero originally.

I have been in several nursing facilities and this one stood out to me the most. Everyone was soo very nice and the facility looked and smelled very clean. My mother never had a complaint and enjoyed her stay and we were very pleased with everything and everyone. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

We have been here for many years and this home has been really good. The past couple of years the home went through a ruff patch due to the past Administrator and now the home under a new Administrator has made a vast turn around. We have enjoyed being here and any questions or concerns we have are always taken care of in a very professional and timely manner. From the Administration Team down to the Nursing Staff and Cnas they really do a good job in providing the best care that they can for the residents. The staff is super friendly, loving & kind and they make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a place for their loved one.

I have mixed emotions about Cuero Nursing Home. The food leaves a lot to desired, the assistance is almost non-existent, the constant smells are sickening and the beds are worse than military. bunks.The physical therapy I received was outstanding.. All of the therapists are top-notch and extremely helpful and friendly.. Glad to be gone.the beds are ]0 The the the beds

I highly recommend Cuero Nursing and Rehab. The staff works hard to make sure your loved ones are cared for. The staff is full of caring and loving employees that work hard so the residents feel like they are part of a larger family. Because thats what we are an extended family taking care of our loved ones.

Even though the nurses are super busy caring for patients, there is a nurse who stands out for being so patient and compassionate. Dee Dee always takes extra time to make sure her patients and their families feel comfortable. She is genuinely kind and caring and loves what she does. Thank You Dee Dee for all you do everyday! It has not gone un noticed.

I highly recommend Cuero Nursing and Rehab. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is homely and the activities that are provided to the residents is out of this world! They treat their residents and staff like they are all family!
