Came to the gym this morning and noticed that the men's bathroom has not been cleaned since I was here last yesterday morning. Out of 10 stair masters only about 3 work all the rower are worn out and there's no tightness in the chain.mistbof the cable stations are broke there is at least 40 pieces of equipment in this gym broken

So I don’t live in that state of Alabama. Fine. I moved and didn’t cancel. I’m fine paying. I visit alabama last month, and make a point to cancel my membership on November 3. Great. Promise me it’s all cancelled and that I won’t pay anything. November 30 they charge me for my membership again. Since then I have called 5 times at different times of day multiple days a week and the phone has not been answered ONCE. The voicemail box is full. I don’t live in the state and I have no way of contacting them. It’s insanity and a horrible way to run a business. On top of that, let’s talk about how gross it was last time I went. Shirtless people everywhere not wiping down their equipment, walked in and the front desk employees were sitting on the ground behind the desk on their phones, screaming people running around. This is a gym, not a playground. Let’s act like it.

I can't tell you how much i enjoy their equipment and how large of an area it is for that alone i would give them 5 stars but I've been coming here for 4 months now and the worst thing is the bathrooms i know you can't expect the floors to be spotless bc of the amount of traffic but c'mon let's fix the urinals and toilets it's absolutely disgusting to walk and here splashing of toilet water and it smells like hot piss like wth and no it's not that sauna the gives that smell it's warm piss sitting in the urinals absolutely disgusting and now there's a roll of paper to soak it up?! Nasty!!! get someone who knows what they're doing to fix this! *update* Theyve definitely started keeping the bathrooms tidy which is great

When do yall have time to clean up bc obviously it's NEVER. the women's bathroom and the men's bathroom are disgusting. The night shift never answers the phone and barely speaks. You can walk right on in without a membership bc they won't know. My husband tried to take a shower in the men's room and would've probably caught a disease if he did. Hire a cleaning crew and a new staff.

Honestly they have everything you need!! The staff is very lovely and they work with you, especially if you have a lot of questions. They have every machine you would need and they have so many great classes if you are fairly new to the workout world. They also provide personal training so if you want more 1 on 1 that is perfect for you!! The greatest thing about this gym is they are 24/7!!! Overall, coming to this gym they gave me a warm welcome and made me feel like a part of the family right away!!

I wanted to work here. I was going to apply for the Group Instructor position. A few of my friends that take the classes have told me how inconsistent it's been and that they stopped going because it's been annoying that instructors aren't around anymore. I peeped my head in a couple classes and they seem very low energy. I decided I don't want to be associated with Crunch as an employee because the place has a lot of bad reviews regarding customer service etc. The cleanliness is bad. The front desk guys are pretty cool. The personal trainers are so nice. Group Fitness isn't very exciting and that sucks. I love group fitness at other places and was hoping I could have it all in one place at Crunch. I wish the stretch area was more organized and not so cluttered with weights all the time.

Just joined after a week trial. Never used the sauna till after joining and that was a mistake. The smell is definitely one of the worst smells I've dealt with like a noxious gas that makes you wonder if your smell receptors will be damaged afterwards and it's not surprising. The amount of crude and scum that lines the sauna floors and first level chairs is disgusting. You can see they try to clean by throwing water down and the black stains have slowly crawled up their walls to about 3feet. The bench when you first walk in is broken and will snap soon. I wrote a message to the gym but didn't get any reply. The cost of wood to redo every two years outweighs the MRSA risk but I guess it's a wait and see kinda deal. Also the door slams and there's no handle inside the sauna looks like it fell off. It's a decent gym with a great vibe but they need to get a good contractor to keep up with easy stuff, instead of people venting in reviews. Looking forward to actions not excuses.

Beware, they will continue to charge you after you try to cancel. My son and I spent the better part of a year disputing a charge after he cancelled in person. We went back and forth fighting it with the CC company and even after we got our money back from the CC from a successful dispute, someone at Crunch counterfeited a NEW membership and charge the CC again! Unethical & illegal! Finally they sent it to collection and since he is about to graduate we caved and paid the $80. Stay away!
